Apart from that I feel like the next episode is gonna be very rush, we will have at most half an episode for after the tournament.

I was kind of hoping the Grand Priest or Whis would block that instead of Goku. Would have been cool to get a glimpse of their powers. On another note, what's with this Jiren character assassination lately. Isn't he a good guy lol

I think he's always been a power hungry asshole and it's finally showing. However I never really got any vibe that he would be willing to kill innocent people. He turned full villain out of nowhere. I guess the possible extinction of your Universe can make you do crazy things.

I guess the possible extinction of your Universe can make you do crazy things. See that's the thing though. He makes grand speeches about how strength is everything, strength is absolute, how other people don't matter, etc. With that personality, it doesn't make sense he's a fighter for justice in U11. It doesn't make sense he's on a team. Quite frankly, his attack to wipe out Goku's teammates would have potentially wiped out his own teammates as well if it connected. The only one he seems to care about is himself, so what got him on edge was himself losing, not his universe or team. Meanwhile in the manga, he never kills (not even the worst villains of Universe 11), always helps out others and was so concerned about the common folk of Universe 11 that he didn't want to leave even just for the hour or so the tournament would take in total.

My last sentence was poorly phrased. I was mostly implying that he wanted to save his universe for personal reasons, not that he actually cared about the people in it.

I got the impression he had a little 'justice' left in him when he took his crew to fight the person that wiped out his town or whatever but after that he was just trying to be more powerful than that person and possibly find something beyond the raw power and was part of the justice squad in order to find strong opponents. That's why he wasn't interested in just knocking everyone else off ezpz, he wasn't there to save anyone, just prove to himself he's the strongest anywhere. Also why he didn't like how it was ending. He knew there was more to learn from Goku .

I really Torotaro continue his manga after the end of Super, the anime could pick up his story line when/if they come back.
