I have some questions about the Zamasu arc. I don't really want to watch it since I know the outcome already and have seen some YouTube videos. I'll put my questions in spoilers just to be sure...
+ Show Spoiler +How do they get the potara earrings again and why does Vegeta agree to use them?
From what I've seen, trunks was the one to kill the physical body of Zamasu but why couldnt Vegito kill him? Isn't Vegito like...the strongest being U7 could possibly have?
Zeno destroyed the future universe right? So what happened to Trunks? I've seen him go back to the Future and saying goodbye to Gohan but isn't that future destroyed?
Thank you. I'm confused because I've seen videos of the fights but they aren't available in YouTube and I don't really want to go through the trouble of finding the episode numbers when I already saw the exciting bits.

Sure, I would watch it anyway but I will put it below.
+ Show Spoiler + Gowasu and Shin (Supreme Kai Universe 7) both travel to the future with time rings. They give Goku and Vegeta the earrings. Vegeta agrees because they stand no chance against fused Zamasu as they had both been getting their asses kicked and took sensu beans. Vegeta also agrees because the fusion only lasts 1 hours due to them not being supreme kai's.
Vegito didn't kill him because he unfused before he could even attempt to. You can watch the whole fight if you type Vegito vs Zamasu and you'll see the point where they defuse.
Zeno destroyed the future universe. Trunks went to an alternate future universe with mai and will live there with another Trunks and Mai (so 2 trunks and 2 mai's in one timeline).

Well at least they didn't Worf Hit to hype Jiren. Kale got a bit of power creep here though.
Ranks be thinning.

Caulifa is definitely a true sayian lol. I love it.

Yeah I really do like Caulifa. Shit talks and acts like a true sayain. Not a fan of Kale at all, way too wimpy. I thought I would like her, but man she's so boring/annoying imo.

Why is the anime trying so hard to make Super Saiyan Blue look completely useless?

Maybe a new form will be used in this tournament?

I was never a broly fan so it's not like I even like that about her...I'm just upset they teased hit v jiren and then let goku fuck it all up.

So Super Saiyan 2 is now a cake walk as well, Super Saiyan 3 is appearantly within easy reach and Legendary Super Saiyan is now stronger than Blue, even though from the Broly movies the form was only a bit beyond Super Saiyan 2 and had infinite stamina/energy. Super Saiyan 3 would've been equal or superior to it (but not last as long) meaning either God forms would've instantly defeated it just like Beerus did to Super Saiyan 3 Goku on King Kai's planet. Super Saiyan Blue should be seriously whacking shit, not getting whacked. Oh well. Logic and Dragonball never did get along well.
Also, how did both Vegeta and Goku fail to recognize the Legendary Super Saiyan form? They fought Broly and a green Super Saiyan is a hard thing to miss.
Lastly, Kale constantly muttering 'Son Gokuuuuuuu' totally reminded me of Team Fourstar's version of the Broly movie.

Broly is not cannon so they never actually meet a legendary SS.

Cause currently i assume shes just ssj broly who is stronger than blue goku and near beerus (considering how whis has been judging goku vegeta being able to beat beerus together) any other power up from her should surpass beerus.
I wish they would have just forgotten the tingly back thing...i hurts me everytime they mention it.
Also something to note while i was reading the dbz manga, vegeta mentions that the legendary super sayain is meant to have an uncontrollable blood lust and rage which is why they mention kale as an "actual" super sayain

SSJ2 is as generic as it can be, just grudge and you are a SSJ2.

I have to confess, I got triggered.
What was the point of making Goku blue's kamehameha do zero damage, while Jiren oneshots Kale? It only led us to believe that Jiren will oneshot Goku even in his blue form. Such hype for the climatic fight guys.
Why didn't Goku just kamehameha her in SSJ2 for the same effect. It's also asinine to make Jiren oneshot Kale. Kale should've been noticeably hurt (Still in LSSJ form) while also getting her ''reasoning'' back. That way we would still think of Jiren as a badass and Kale (and her hype) would actually be worth something. As it stands Kale's entire character and all the time spent on her are just an excuse for trying to ride the Broly hype by reenacting every attack/move/situation Broly was ever in.
Atleast Caulifa was cool so that was my saving grace this episode.

Dragonball Super is such a mess, it's funny. Goku Blues Kamehameha does like zero dmg on Kale? :D
Indeed, Jiren should one shot Goku if they fight. But I'm sure he'll be fine, it's how Dragonball Super works.

Like I said, the anime puts a lot of effort into making Blue seem completely useless.

Every time I see Jiren, I'm reminded of powerpuff girls

Like I said, the anime puts a lot of effort into making Blue seem completely useless. It's really unfortunate. At the start blue was one of my favorite transformations

Blue has highly variable power based on plot necessity.
