As for the question I had leaving the movie. I guess the main thing is + Show Spoiler + If Logan's healing abilities were compromised first by the corn syrup additive they mixed to suppress random mutations, then while he is dead, wouldn't the presence inside his body wear out first which would allow his healing factor to kick back up again? If it was first degenerating due to age and unaffected by that suppresant, then that closes the door on the actual Logan ever healing back up. I found it curious why for Charles they use soil to cover him but for logan they used loose rock specifically (if that even mattered). On the other end, x24 only had half of his brains blown off, so his brain is still there. His healing factor should still kick in later on and we now half a complete blank slate x24 that was created wouldnt we? The drug only speeds up his healing factor right? It's not that he also has the suppresant as x24 didnt need a shot prior to the fight starting. These are the 2 main questions I had leaving the theater, but overall, I dont mind it.

The long exposure to it is finally starting to take a toll which is why he's healing and not healing as fast. You're probably reading into the rocks bit too, they probably just didn't have a shovel. But the clone point is fair. I'm still not really sure how the bullet is supposed to kill him. Overall one of the best superhero movies I've watched though.

About x24 + Show Spoiler + They didn't really show him dead. If they want him to come back for some future movie they can say he regenerated it back but he would lose all memories/programming stored in that part of the brain. But at that point his threat was stopped either way as he could no longer fight and would need a long time to recover even if he lives. Also the movie wolverine healing factor might be weaker than comics healing factor and massive brain damage might be enough to kill him

Was his healing factor reduced by age or suppresants in the food? If only suppresant, then they could technically heal him over time once the suppresant is flushed out of his system. If age only, well no dice. As for the grave, well they did have someone who could manipulate earth. Hehe. Im just saying. Its not a big deal. X24 is their possible option to use jackman again in future movies, if jackman finds it compelling to play logan in a future timeline movie.

About his healing factor: + Show Spoiler + I think the movie states it is adamantium poisoning that removes it. His healing factor kept it in check but slowly lost the battle with too much poisoning happening. Maybe the Gene-X thing in food helped but adamantium poisoning was the main cause. Maybe he could be revived if Magneto or something similar was able to remove all the adamantium from his body.

For example Batman Begins, not really that great. Same as the last Wolverine movie - everyone was giving it rave reviews at the time and saying holy shit this is way better than the first Wolverine movie but now you look at it and it's shit. It's actually sad because nowadays every movie IS THE BEST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN from la la land to hating Trump to whatever other bullshit movie that came out recently. Can you even remember the best movie of 2016? Because I bet you had to think to remember it, but I can guarantee that at the time IT WAS THE BEST MOVIE I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME like the Hobbit or whatever that no-one even cares about now. It's all advertising, hype and populism and this Wolverine movie is no different. Watch it again in a year's time and see if you feel the same.

Last wolverine was never called good. Batman begins was also not hyped.

As far as superhero movies go, it's among the best. Agreed. I have never walked away from any x-men movie yet and thought "Damn what an amazing movie" they have all been okay to me. But this one, man easily my favorite and I am definitely watching it again once it's out of theaters.

+ Show Spoiler + He seems to have been pretty much a goner after the farmer spiked him through and blew him to bits-they had to give him emergency healing power booster-which Logan has shown himself more than capable of recovering from in both the comics and movie continuity (X3 where Jean was literally dissolving him into atoms, anyone?). His healing factor is probably quite a bit weaker than Logan's baseline one/Laura's (Lauren's?). Overall a great film. The only off-putting part of the movie was + Show Spoiler + the X-tots deciding to violently murder Pierce rather than help deal with X24 by just freezing and shattering him or whatever.

To your part about the kids. + Show Spoiler + You have to remember their kids and this guy is responsible for torturing/trying to kill them. The kids aren't going to think logically, they are going to act on their feelings, especially when they've been trained to kill their whole lives.
