Yeah he's said it multiple times. He no longer enjoys acting as much as he used to so he's going to try another career. I think it was somewhere in this interview if you're curious. + Show Spoiler +

I don't know where, but I've read or heard that he's thinking about pursuing an academic career in philoshophy and/or theology.
I'm not saying he is stupid. He probably is quite intelligent. He just shares a feature of too many intelligent people: Being as convoluted as possible when expressing simple things.

Cersei's grief was the icing on the cake. I hope she'll suffer a lot more before she finally kills herself (I don't know if she's going to do it I just want her to die).
I have no idea who could kill her son but I'm convinced that it's not Oberyn, Sansa or Tyrion. I don't know how marriage works in Westeros so I can't tell if the Tyrells could gain anything from killing Joffrey after the wedding but before the consummation. My guess is that they gain nothing and prince Tommen is next in the line but I could be wrong.

I didn't really like his speech either, but it's worth noting that he was addressing the Oxford student union so it's not supposed to be similar to a normal interview.

Sansa is too innocent to plan this elaborate plan. She is only a pawn.

She isn't too bright either so even is someone manipulated her into poisoning Joffrey she would probably fail.
Man, Game of Thrones would make such a good Starcraft game. You could either do some Diplomacy like game, or do a Game of Thrones campaign, both would be so good. Right now if you approximate everyone in Game of Thrones with Starcraft units, it'd probably be like this:

Targaryens = Protoss. Come from an advanced civilization, Powerful AOE attacks, totally OP Greyjoys = Terran. Turtled up on the islands, specialize in small, quick ships for harassment Tyrells = Zerg. Big army, lots of bases, gains power through genetic infestation
