I'd be Blackfish. He was supposed to have escaped the slaughter at the red wedding so he should be back soon to start smashing skulls.

I guess some aspects you would expect in a "conquest" are missing here, but anyway.
I think the idea that Stannis told everyone that Cersei's children are not Robert's may be a wide spread rumor, but it seems to be treated more like gossip than fact. If EVERYONE knew and believed that Joffrey/Tommen wasn't a Baratheon, then there would be no reason for Joffrey to have ever been king. Tywin would have made himself king and not had to deal with his grandson if they were strictly ruling by force of arms. The evidence suggests that while Stannis may have spread the rumor and a few people may know the truth, the majority consider it the equivalent of modern day tabloid gossip like the National Enquirer, spread by Stannis who has the motive of trying to take the throne for himself.

I dont think the people care that much about who has the right claim. Reny had no legitimate claim and still alot of people supported him.

In relationships, sex doesn't have to be 100% consensual. If my girlfriend is sleeping and I get on top of her, start kissing her neck, and then slowly have sex with her, she's not going to get mad. Just like how I wouldn't get mad if I woke up to a blowjob, even when I never gave consent to it. Even when I say no, she will do things to me, etc. With your partner if you don't want something, you need to be really stern, otherwise it shows you don't mind..
I really don't want to get into this, and this is really off-topic for this thread, but this is clearly rape. Having sex with someone who can't consent is rape. The bolded part is really, really objectionable, and kinda shows the lie in the argument of the folks who say this doesn't matter, because fiction.
Again, I really want this thread to just be about the show, in spite of how insane the moral arguments are in this thread. And I'm aware part of it is a US/EU thing, where US law is more "must give consent" and EU laws tend to be more "didn't hold a knife to throat". And in the context of the show, rape isn't the most horrible thing that happens in their universe, but the scene is clearly a moral backslide for a character struggling with his dual identity as an idealist-romantic-knight and a fuck-it-all-cynic, desperately trying to control the woman who keeps controlling him. But rape is still rape, and in this case it was clearly intended as such, irregardless of any Greedo-shot-first pussyfooting the director may try to pull.
Edit: also, the argument from "we'd had sex before " (were in a relationship) has been almost entirely discarded legally, as it should be, as a relic of a time when such a "relationship" meant ownership of a woman.

I vote for Jamie as new King (sooner or later). He would make an interesting character on the throne with his golden hand, broken ego and wrong desire. Perfect potential to go crazy be King. Not sure how things would go if Tommen disappeared though. Maybe Jamie would need to stab some dudes (Tywin++) in the back before getting there.. Hmmm. Maybe my theory is total balls though :D
Edit: About the poisoning - Do we actual know if the fucker got or got not poisoned? Seems to me there was no poison at all, just the wrong throat. Makes everybody go crazy of course, but shit happens. Kings guard give up all claims to titles and their vows are for life. He already turned down Lord of Castely Rock to stay on as a Kings Guard I don't see him becoming king

We are talking about a TV show that plays in medieval times. Nobody seeing the scene would have raised an eyebrow in those times. Also mind that rape in marriage was an accepted thing deep into the 20th century.

edit: Yeah, Excludos is right, I'll stop ^^... One week is so much downtime between episodes, and I just want more Game of Thrones stuff is all.

Some people don't care who has the claim, but the idea that EVERYONE knows about Jaime and Cersei and believes the rumor is clearly not true. There is no benefit to making Joffrey the king if the legal claim to the crown meant nothing to anyone.

They aren't married yet are they? Or it happened off-screen. Hell, I'd just take all my fucking money and sail my boat to Braavos or something and marry Sansa. Fuck Westeros
