I can't remember Tyrion ever finding out who told Catelyn Stark that he was trying to murder Bran. Did that happen in the show? Asa far as I remember Tyrion never even gets properly told what his crime is, that's why he begins confessing childhood pranks in his trial. Then he demands trial by Mortal Kombat, Bronn finishes Ser Vardis, and then they leave the Eyrie and get captured by the hill tribes.
If anyone told him Littlefinger put the blame on him, then it was in King's Landing. And there it is Cersei, Varys and Littlefinger who could tell him about that.
Littlefinger told Catelyn that the dagger the would-be Bran assassin used was Tyrion's, and I remember Tyrion saying that it's stupid to count that as evidence because he wouldn't give an assassin his personal dagger everybody can link to him. So he knew what he was accused of, and he knew why. He might not have known how Catelyn knew it was his dagger, but since it in fact was, that doesn't really matter. What matters is who gave it to the assassin.
And that must have been Cersei, right? Jaime probably wouldn't have framed Tyrion. And now that you say it, I agree, Tyrion should have asked questions about how the assassin got his dagger ...
I kinda assumed Littlefinger was responsible; given that he's kinda in the habit of killing people, then framing other people (particularly Tyrion) to stir up a little "ladder"

Well no. If you let me explain. Bran saw Jaime and Cersei fucking. Jaime tried to kill Bran by pushing him out the window. When Bran survived, Jaime or Cersei(can't remember which of the two) sent an assassin to kill Bran. That failed, too, and left behind an ornate dagger. Cersei instructs Littlefinger to put the blame on Tyrion. First, because the dagger was leading to Lannister family anyway. Second, because Cersei hates Tyrion.

There's a scene in the show where Tyrion accosts Cersei of sending the assassin to kill Bran, and she is silent, which allows Tyrion to figure out it must have been Joffrey, which she does not deny. Seems pretty clear that Joffrey is the one who sent the assassin, and it seems likely that Littlefinger made up the story about the knife belonging to tyrion (without recognizing it) to continue stirring the pot, given that we now know that he's responsible (with Lysa Arryn) for the murder of Jon Arryn to start these events into motion in the first place. Littlefinger is the mastermind behind the conflict between the Starks and Lannisters. He probably had nothing to do with the assassination attempt on Bran, but likely used it to his advantage when it become clear he could. He's quite an opportunist as well as a go-getter.
When Tyrion is accosting Cersei, he is doing it over the killing of all King Robert's bastards in King's Landing. That is the one that it turns out Joffrey actually orchestrated.
To my knowledge, it still isn't confirmed who tried to kill Bran with the assassin. Jaimie already denied it was him even after admitting that he did the pushing, so he's probably telling the truth there. That would most likely point to Cersei, but it seems odd that Jaimie was not included in her plot.
Littlefinger becomes a strong suspect due to the way he placed the blame on Tyrion and his desire to stir shit up by pitting Stark against Lannister.
I guess it could be someone else, like the Boltons, but doubtful.

Yes, Cersei said nothing and didn't denied Joffrey, but it doesn't prove anythin. Joffrey had no particular reason to send an assasin to kill some kid that I highly doubt he even knew about his existence. And Joffrey didn't knew what happened in tower between Bran/Cersei/Jaime, he never knew Cersei and Jaime shared their lovetime. Moreover, relashionships between Tyrion and Joffrey wasn't that stressful at those moment. It must be Cersei or Jaime, most likely it was Cersie, since Jaime told the truth about pushing but Cersei told actually NOT A SINGLE WORD.

That conversation was referring to a different kid. It was referring to an earlier scene at a brothel where soliders killed a baby which may or may not have been a bastard son of Robert Barathian. Basically it was showing that Joffrey had heard the rumors and was killing off any potential legitimate successors.

And it still might be Cersie behind bastards killings. Joffrey considered Robert as his dad. I realy doubt he had any thoughts about bastards of Robert, and it highly doubtful he cared much since he is already on the iron throne, and also he never knew that he was a result of incest. He never was interested in Game, the only thing he was interested is a crossbow, and probably violence over Sansa and others. Cersei cared so much about Joffrey since he was her first child. Cersei could do it in name of the king, and she was the actual Queen-regent if am not mistaken?
i wonder if cersi is gonna be glad that tywins dead or not, i mean he was her father but still she was like super pissed about marrying loras and thats definitely not gonna happen now. Jamie too he likes his dad too right and its kinda his fault that tywin is dead, a brother or a dad... :/ and the lanister gold/army cause jamie cant have any of that does cersi just get all of it or does it disappear D: its gonna be a dreadful wait till next season.

I'm trying to imagine, who will be next hand of a king, but can't figure out even a single person who got decent skills and knowleges, and still in KL.

I'm betting it's gonna be the old guy whose name I forgot that's loyal to the lannisters, but I think he holds a position alrdy. Maybe it could be one of the Martell's, but then that was Tywin's doing, getting on their good side and getting them into positions in schemes.
Other than that who knows ya, shits pretty empty atm, maybe Jaime could resign from the Kings Guard finally since he can't really fight at full strength and can now fight a different way as the hand of the king.

I don't think Tywin will be missed by his children. He sentenced Tyrion to death. He wanted to force Cersei to marry Loras, go to Highgarden(and leave her last child, Tommen, behind in King's Landing). He tried to make Jaime quit the Kingsguard. Being a Kingsguard is a job for life.
About Jaime: He tries, he wants to uphold his vows. When he killed the mad king, his vows contradicted each other. He had to make a choice as he said himself, between loyalty to his family and loyalty to his king, between doing the right thing and doing his sworn duty. The right thing is protecting the weak and innocent, justice, honor etc. His duty was to protect the king. He had good reason break his kingsguard vow when he did. Tywin wanted him to break his kingsguard vow again, only because Tywin wants it that way and for "the legacy of the family".
Tywin had absolutely no concern for the desires of others, even those of his children. The last thing he tried to do was force all of his children to do exactly as he says.

U mean maester Pycelle? He's too old and can't even spell a sentense properly. Jaime got to be released either by Tommen or by hand of a king. I think Jaime is happy by his current state and he is not interested in politics? And definitely not anyone from Martells, how could u forget what happened to Oberyn? Most likely Dorn will become their enemy. Tyrells? Well, only if grandma will step forward, Olenna Tyrell, right? Cause seems like she rules by Tyrells and not Mace Tyrell, those dude got shit in his head. Olenna was smart and skilled enough to opposite Tywin if it will be necessary ofc. But is it possible that female character will be as a hand of a king?
Maybe Littlefinger returns to King's Landing just when there is need of an experienced advisor and politician? Suitable candidates don't exactly grow on trees and right now, the small council consists of Grandmaester Pycelle and Mace Tyrell.

I'm currently rewatching the entire series and missed the during the first watch through. I had a "wtf" look on my face when Pyrcell just jumped around, stretching for a bit then on his act again after the whore left the room.
Researched it and apparently it's not in the books and they put it in the show because the actor's extremely good in doing that.

When did Cat tell Tyrion that it was Littlefinger who said that though? People post here she told him but I dont think so. I was just watching S01E05, at about 11.30 minutes Cat and Tyrion talk about the blade but Littlefinger is never mentioned.
