For Germans the best way is to get the sky ticket entertainment test abo, it will cost you 2 euros until August 31 and would cost 9.99 per month starting from september 1st, but you can just cancel it before then. Episode 7 is set to air on August 27th, so every German can watch the full season 7 for 2 euros . Added bonus of having access to the previous 6 seasons and a bunch of other shows included in the entertainment package. Edit: https://skyticket.sky.de/ just pick the entertainment package on the bottom left. Interesting indeed. It is in English and German and you can stream it anytime. Only disadvantage I see is that the broadcast is like 16 hours later.

Well doesnt matter, I will just try it for that price. English and German, whatever you prefer and yes you can stream on demand at any time.
The sky video player needs Microsoft silverlight btw and you need to whitelist the site in your adblocker.

The broadcast is at the exact same time the US broadcast starts. You can watch it on demand. At least from the Statement of SKY

They literally said to set your alarm clock to 3am if you want to watch it live.
Edit: Well it's between 3am and 4am, there might be some delay for us :/

Solid start to the season.

Alright premiere I guess.

Good start to get back into it. Not much to talk about I guess. Dany sitting on all the dragon glass will be the reason for her and Jon to get into contact it seems.

They're just doing six episodes, right? That's 360 minutes. Less after intros. Devoting five of those minutes to "look, we got Ed Sheeran" seems damn near criminal. Rest was alright but it basically just reminded us what everyone was already doing. Jon doing kingindanorf stuff, Cersei doing Cersei stuff, Arya doing Arya stuff, zombies walking south walk south, people on ships get off ships, no moments of plot advancing anywhere.

Episode 7 is over 80 minutes long.

Cersei (sort of)allying with Euron, Arya going to Kings Landing and setting up Jon and Dany's encounter is good enough for a first episode, in my opinion. I thought the Ed Sheeran cameo was going to be fucking stupid, however, while the scene was a bit long, at least it showed something.

The CGI looked really bad at times. This season and the next were not shot together, right? If so, I guess we're going to see a major battle with Dragons/White Walkers this season.

Euron's 'two hands' quote was good enough plot advancement for me
also undead giants yo

Damn, The Hound confronting the father and daughter he robbed some seasons ago was the best part.

I can already tell that the writing will be (again) the weak link of GoT. Some extremely on the nose exposition/dialogue in this episode, took me out of the scenes multiple times. Sam finding something he already knew, the Hound being better at red priest stuff than melisandre, euron again yelling "murder, murder, murder", lot's of examples of disappointing things in this episode. Funnily enough i thought the lannister soldier scene was fine, showing that there are normal/good people on every side of the battle is a good thing. Could have been a bit shorter though i guess and i don't care for them using pop singers either. Despite me disliking the Hound as red priest padawan, the scene in general was great. Probably the best part of today's episode. Oh Daenerys arriving at dragonstone was neat as well, maybe because there was no dialogue at all Visually great, acting decent to good, but the writing just "ok". Oh and whoever thought we need a montage should be fired, that was actually a total waste of screentime imo. 6/10

Surely "there are good and bad people on every side and the majority of people are just caught up in shit beyond their control" doesn't need to be said in GoT. I mean it wasn't the worst part of the episode, it's just a symptom, but it was pretty glaring. We've got a lot of ground to cover and not much time to do it.

I don't think Sam knew the mountain upon which Dragon Stone was built ist made of Dragon Glass(unless you're referencing something else). I do agree that the dialogue is cheesy at times, but it's not that good even in the books TBH.
I also don't think time will be short. Thinks took long to develop earlier in the series because there were a lot of characters. Now most of them are dead(and I don't believe they'll introduce new people), and the remaining ones are converging. Jon and Dany will eventually encounter, Arya will reach Kings Landing and the Hound and Beric's Band are going north.
