I’m quite upset that rotten tomatoes only gave it a 61. While movies like the last Jedi has 91. I hope the metric was based on an “all ages” kind of thing then I’d understand. Otherwise, ITS A MUST WATCH IF U ENJOYED THE FIRST ONE. Even though Emily Blunt isn’t in this one (she more or less played the virtue signaler in the first one anyways)

I really enjoyed this satire. Its an Armando Ianucci movie, a comedian who is known for his distinctive, chaotic and realistic style of humor. He made In the Loop and the UK political satirical series in the Thick of it. The Death of Stalin is, as you would expect, about the fallout of Stalin's death and the power games and race to the top that ensued. It has some hilarious comedy, as well as quite an intense ending (think Four Lions but maybe less funny). I would definitely recommend this movie to US audiences who want to see something a bit different from what they are used to. Its not mindblowing, or the best movie ever, but its certainly worth a watch. 8/10

While at first from the trailer it looked like boobs-y shot-on-digital 2010s-era garbage, after starting it I quickly found out it was that..and so much more. I don't know whether to feel embarrassed or offended for the people in the film (luckily they all *seem* to be enjoying themselves) but oh man is it bad-good. Whether you want routine filmmaking mistakes (obvious shadows of the camera or cameraman), acting and blocking issues (mugging for the camera and laughing as one is murdered are commonplace), odd writing (the second of the titular stories is called "Evil Killer Spirit in a Book") or questionable editing choices (a powerpoint wipe is used for the names to appear in the opening credits and a purple font is used on a black screen to describe time passing), this movie has almost everything you could want in a movie like this. The biggest problem is that there's just too much discussion of rape (and actual rape, one time is too many) and between that and the sheer amount of boobage watching this in mixed company, or any company really, would likely be a terrible decision. That, and the fact that it may lean too far towards the "trying to be a bad movie" spectrum for some people that like bad movies. I forgave it a lot of this because it ends on a black screen saying "Thank you for watching my first movie I ever made And I plan on getting better and making more." Solid 7/10 bad movie. The trailer is incredibly NSFW, by the way, if you couldn't tell already.

This movie was so bad on so many levels... Rampage is a masterpiece compared to it.

Wow! It takes something to interpret Incredibles 1 in that way! Absolutely astonishing! And to have the guts to say that Black Panther has greatness reeks of ideology instead of criticism on a movie.

Incredibles 2: What a watch, great animation, non stop comedic relief, fun action and a social review without boring the audience with it by just using it as a part of the narrative tool. Great stuff, watch it!

I also did a double feature with Independence Day 2 today, and that one didn't hold up as well. It felt more serious and generic, with a more complicated plotline that betrays its predecessor's simplicity. The actors don't have as much chemistry or stupidly hilarious one-liners, but Jeff Goldblum still entertains when he does Jeff Goldblum things.

Another marvel film. Hard to rate these movies as they are exactly what you expect of them. Humor that carries the film. Worth a watch, but it's a movie you quickly forget after you've seen it, and no emotions is lingering as you get into your car driving home. Still miles and heapes better then last movie I saw, Jurassic world, who at the end took a dive into the shithole making me want my hour back.

great movie. i love how old movies pace slowly allowing one to carefully contemplate the plot developments. + Show Spoiler + the scene 1 hour into the movie is a perfect example of why zero tolerance for violence against women is a dogmatic, BS , oversimplified policy. rather ironic we have all these liberals running around yapping about how tolerant they are and they have zero tolerance for any one of 5,000 things. any how... Paul Newman's physicality with Sally Field 1 hour into the movie was a fantastic exploration of the gray areas of assault... it was epic listening to him describe the details of Theresa Perrone's suicide. i'm sure Sally Field could take photos of herself with special lighting from the perfect angle and make the abrasions on her skin look like a crime against humanity. any how, 10/10

T_T It will be shown in cinemas in Poland a month after world premiere... I have no idea why they would delay it so much (probably damned dubbing or something). The Last Dragonslayer Yet another movie I've watched and I have no idea why it has such low scores on IMDB. It reminded me of the old movies based on Pratchett's works, with all the absurd humor and such. I've found it delightful and light entertainment. Very enjoyable if you want to kill some time and like a bit of ridiculousness in your life.
