At least Espadas 0-10 made sense.
There were originally 30 quincies but they had to kill 4 to make the alphabet thing work
lol so byakua off-screened 3 high level quincies are you kidding me? I thought the dude with glasses was the one that was pro enough to take out shunsui's eye ... also don't understand how those weak fodder ex-espada are expected to deal with zombie captains.

that makes no sense
i mean its not like Bach has a super secret dimension they could all have been hiding in
If you are being sarcastic I have absolutely no idea. I completely forgot the explanation (if there was one) hence me asking here

i think in fear guys flashback hes in a hospital room, so i think that Bach ahs been spending all his spare time since losing hunting people who could be quincies then bringing him to his secret place
Ishidas father wanted nothing to do with being a quincy anymore so whatever he knows wouldnt ahve been shared, and his grandpa was definently not the sort Bach would attempt to recruit anyway, Grandpa either assumed Bach was dead or just never wanted Ishida to know about the evil quincies out there, he may have intended to tell him later but he died fairly early in his life
there all super human because Bach has the ability to grant others super powers that return to him after that person dies (which is the Letter each of them have) Uryu has gotten one though so hes gonna be stronger then ever before

It still seems farfetched that he'd never find any of these quincy. Especially the ones younger than him

Ishidas grandfather wasnt on Bachs side, nor was Uryu, its likely there entire family was against the Quincy/Shinigami war and didnt help Bach at all and stayerd neutral in the conflict
its also likely Bachs soldiers arent "Quincys" just "humans who have taht potential" which would explain why so few are using bows Bach may have been gathering up humans and brainwashing them then training them in Quincy arts, the Quincys weve seen are fantically devoted and even the 2 Arrancars in his army were the same so seems like he has some special skill in brainwashing which might be a side effect of receiving a Letter
Wait, why is the argument going back to Ishida's grandpa?
Didn't Bach go to war 1000 years ago? If so, direct involvement with Ishida's grandpa is impossible?
Also, didn't bach bring those quincies with him to the Shadow soul society dimension which is why they have that loyalty to him? They were with him during the war and were not just presently recruited? They haven't really "Aged" which is what is actually bothering me about these quincies as they should be human yet seem to be immortal or are aging really really slowly.
They only started acting to re-strengthen bach which is what caused the death of the quincies of ishida's mom's generation to restore bach's power back to him correct? Since he is the "father" of all quincies?

That's how I recall it but I may be wrong.
the 2 arrancars couldnt possibly have been around that long and had the same loyalty, and IIRC fear guy had a flashback that showed a modern hospital so rather then having immortal comrades he has new ones

I've started blech. Currently at episode 115. Apparently they canceled the anime? How stupid, it's really, really well done. Everything is good (except for the music with the chorus girls, that's cheesy as fuck wtf).
Well, the story has me hooked right now. I totally dig it. I skipped the bount filler arc though, fuck that.
So right now it's arrencar or smt. those guys are strong bastards apparently? ichigo has the problem with the other half hollow. that's a nice problem. i also liked how the half hollow intervened in the fight vs byabaka. very nice overall

they start out so innocent :'(
does bleach go to shit or something? i hope not
the start is so strong, even if it becomes less good later on, it should still be good

They didn't cancel it out of stupidity. They cancelled it because the manga caught up to the current arc, which is still not done in the manga yet. They would have had to do filler for years if they didn't stop it then. I'm hoping they'll animate this last arc when it's done.

ah, this makes much more sense. if so, this is also a good move. thank you for clarifying
i'm still having a blast with bleach at the moment

mah, i'll just enjoy it right now :p
we don't want to end your dreams...
Incognoto, don't listen to these cynical bastards.... They're all just frustrated because reading manga is not like watching the anime... you get tiny little snippets and two or three bad manga releases - a month since they are released weekly - can put you over the edge (which realistically could be a bad episode or two max). You also tend to overdramatise things because the anticipation built up by waiting for something so long means that you almost certainly won't get satisfaction unless it's brilliant. I waited for the 1000 year blood war arc to build up before starting to read.. Read about 20-30 chapters one after the other and it was awesome. Now that I'm reading week by week I must say it's both frustrating and infuriating at times. I must say, like you, I enjoyed watching the anime immenselly... even the bount arcs. Don't skip stuff because a lot of character growth, both in power and maturity, happens during these arcs.

ikaku is both hilarious and a bad ass
I'd recommend to stop watching some time before they enter Hueco Mundo. I'd end right on the episode where Grimmjow shows up and goes rock'em sock'em with Ichigo's face. After that it starts to get.... really boring. There's a couple ok moments in Hueco Mundo if I remember right but it's not worth trudging through episode after episode of shit.

What about Uliquora fight? I thought that was better than Grimmjow. Also would've missed some good moments of Zaraki.

Uliquora fight was terrible good fights are close not one side beats one side until the other side goes full power then kicks the other side around until they go full power
