And Lmao at the excessive taunting finally made the ninja snap and unloaded all his tricks hahahahaha
Nah, Momo's dad has that ability too from Kinemon's comment, but those comments about "another person" are referring to someone who they don't know well. I think it's Roger since their attitude to "that person" is very similar to how people in the Drum kingdom, Skypiea referred to him.

This is interesting, can you show me the chapter?
i missed it

Funny how the ninja is in chains, presumably to prevent him from escaping in order to keep him safe, but when showing off his ninja skills he escaped. What was the point of the chains then?

He gets untied by Kinemon before he starts his demonstration.

wow. lot of info dropped in this chapter

Ok guys, i guess i wanna start with a little OP action. Should i start reading from chapter one? I watched the anime years ago (enel was the last bit i think) so there is that. Typically beginning from the start is the best solution, but it's quite a lot and i am not sure if everything is 100% relevant tbh :D Thanks for the help^^

I take it mangastream's late release is to translate this chapter appropriately
i am just fucking speechless, lol

Alternatively watch the anime up to the most recent arcs and then start reading the manga
Either way, time consuming.

Absolutely, from the beginning! Marathon that shit! The story is so perfectly fleshed out.
I'd watch the anime though it's really quite well done.
+ Show Spoiler +This to me foreshadows Luffy stealing the poneglyphs.

I actually don't wanna watch the anime tbh, i heard the pacing is pretty bad and watching surely takes more time than reading anyway :D From the beginning it is then (as expected obviously ^^)

Hm in general people seem to say that the pacing is extremely slow in the anime? Like what is told in 3 episodes could be in one or similar.

I felt like the pacing was pretty ok early on but as they got closer to catching up with the manga they had to really slow it down

Hm in general people seem to say that the pacing is extremely slow in the anime? Like what is told in 3 episodes could be in one or similar. In general the anime is 1 episode per chapter. Makes the pacing look very slow because the events of a chapter are dragged out by several minutes, they did that because the anime got too close to the manga. But at least One Piece doesn't deal with atrocious month long fillers like Naruto for example.

One piece anime has really become horribly slow

They should honestly take a break with the anime at the end of Dressrosa. >_<
