It will mess with me whenever I read a new chapter and all it will do to me is me asking when are we getting to the end? I want to see the end that I was promised!

Though it would be kind of a spoiler, I find "surprises/plot twists" are generally not entertaining in themselves. Good stories entertain by how good they are told. Out of place example: Romeo and Juliet Pretty much every kid entering school knows both die at the end, at an age too young to really appreciate the story. Yet it is still one of the most famous love stories, generally considered a masterpiece/very good. And yes, I am saying Oda is shakespearean class story teller. I knew Ace died long before it happened. Still good.

It's just people tend to look at older works and give them far more meaning than the authors originally intended.

Sigh, are we really going to do this? For once, can you spare us? of course my mistake, i forgot that his fruit wasnt called the yami yami no mi, that his fruit did not allow him to create darkness that could spread out and suck stuff in and eject it out and only allowed him to control gravity exactly like Fujitoras fruit thanks for correcting me

His darkness can create a black hole which fucks with gravity to suck stuff in etc. But he himself cannot outright control gravity. While being slightly similar they are still different. Two different fruits that have a small cross over point but two very different methods and outcomes with it.
