Relying on mangapanda or mangareader for clean pages is always a bad choice :D Check out the better visually scanned pages on mangastream a few hours later. For example your page http://readms.com/r/one_piece/763/2567/6 You can now clearly see the person PS : epic chapter, OP really is getting more interesting the longer it goes, doesnt happen often to a story =)

When reading the chapter it was really obvious to me, not just because of the blindness but also the way he hold the stick. Oda might not even explain it more and leave it there "open to interpretation".

They eventually learned how to mine it and that's what made them really wealthy. Only the world government knew the truth about the amber lead and they kept it a secret from the people who were mining it, crafting with it, and trading it. So the people briefly got rich before it all came crashing down on them. The royal family might have known and it seems that the World government was willing to help that family, but for some reason it didn't help the citizens. It wouldn't even tell the neighboring countries that the disease was not contagious. We don't really know why, but we do see Doflamingo with a book titled Flevance, so he might know something more about that country and why the World Government would let it be destroyed. Theory time: I'm thinking Doflamingo might have known of a family of Ds in Flevance, which the WG wanted to get rid of covertly. It may also be why he's taken such an interest in Law. He may suspect that Law is a D and he needs to use a D to get back at the Celestial Dragons who exiled him or possibly the whole world. Corazon doesn't want that revenge, which is why he's telling Law to stay away from Doflamingo. That's a cool theory. I think the WG would definitely resort to lead poisoning to kill off a family of D's in order to ensure no problematic descendents. As for what Rico/Cora wants, I think it's to kill Doflamingo. Law said back on the bridge that he means to finish what Rico started - which is most likely to kill Doflamingo by using Kaido. So I'm thinking that Rico was pissed because Doffy killed his father and is trying to destroy the world so he pretends to be dumb and plays along so he can get his chance at stopping him.

Hmm tbh, if it's really Doflamingo was in danger, I don't think Corazon would've done what he done here. So we know Corazon is on Laws side, we don't know why but he is. Even before he knows about the D. And knowing about the D. he actually dragged him to a safe place to talk to him about it. He says: "You of all people must not be anywhere near Doflamingo" (Iirc, Corazon is supposed to be mute? Or just doesn't talk much at all (first time Law hears him talk at least)) Now this prompts me to believe that Corazon is some kind of a traitor or spy to begin with. Looking at his facetattoos, he could be linked to Dragon but let's not go that way. So what happens next is clear, Corazon eventually dies and Law defects but has the will of Corazon. First time this character was introduced, there was a sort of tension between the 3 of them. I believe that Corazon is on the side of the D.'s and not the Celestial Dragons. I think that these were once the 2 families that ruled the world. Now I also don't want to go into detail with that but Corazon wants to protect Law from Doflamingo. So he will keep the D. a secret and continue to groom Law into what he is now. (don't know what happens with Buffalo and Baby5 knowing about the D.) I can't seem to get my thoughts together today so I'll stop here and hope you guys can build on this.

The flashbacks that are usually so annoying are such a beautifull side of OP.. Law had it tough but so did DD and corazon does seem to have a hidden agenda from DD wich is quite a shock.. Corazon will pay for betraying DD and it will be Law's fault imo

At least I understood it that Rocinante was at the side of his brother his whole life. Maybe Rocinante just got the idea for stars tattoed on his face from the same person as Ivankov. Something like alternate universe elton john, renegade musician, or something.
