And since some of you mentioned that Cora's fruit is good for espionage since they will never know you are there unless they physically see you, could it be a possible stretch that Cora changed his identity and became "that reporter"? Since the WG and Dofla thought he was dead anyway? Just a wild thought tangent since I saw speculations about whether Cora/Roci is alive or not at present.

Its heavily hinted that the reporter is Absolam, given that the boat the reporter probably was on flew the Thriller Bark Jolly Roger.

Oda straight up said in an SBS that the independent reporter Absa is in fact Absalom. Its also likely that he saved Moriah at Marineford. Since Moriah was apparently mortally wounded, he needed an elite doctor's care and Hogback is just that, and since Hogback hangs around with Absalom its likely that Absalom was the one that caused Moriah to disappear.

The pirates are looking to sell. They talk about how if they eat it they'd become world class doctors but they'd rather be rich instead. Doflamingo is looking to steal it and Corazon is to prevent him from doing that. Also, does this look like blackbeard to anyone? + Show Spoiler +

And I know you are going to love this, but + Show Spoiler + It is entirely possible that we have not seen all of the members of cp0. Not saying the guy in the chair was one but still. I have a new appreciation for the soundless fruit He effectively caused a distraction by making his gun soundless. Making his opponents think the attack came from elsewhere. I think it has a few more useful properties than the invisible fruit if it were used by someone less clumsy. I personally given the decision would take the soundless fruit. *Thinks* *Remembers* http://www.mangapanda.com/103-2553-14/one-piece/chapter-446.html Nevermind there is always that. The second scene some pirates already have the fruit and are looking to sell it. I see one or any combo of these things being what happened. a.) Doffy's intel was wrong or b.) There are 2 pirate groups in the trade. Pirate group 1 is selling to the govt and the govt is in turn selling it to "pirate group 2" (which may or may not actually be a pirate group) c.) Translation error and the govt is in turn buying the fruit.

And why would the WG sell off the OP fruit? It's like selling off Pluton. The fruit can even grant immortality and I'm sure the corrupt higher ups as well as the heavenly dragons would be interested. Also, could you believe that some random pirate squad could produce enough cash to actually buy the fruit? No way. The pirates got lucky, found it and decided to sell.

Blackbeard was with Whitebeard when Ace arrived, and Ace definitely wasn't there 13 years ago.

Also, could you believe that some random pirate squad could produce enough cash to actually buy the fruit? No way. The pirates got lucky, found it and decided to sell. I'm pretty sure that Hyperbola is right. Which means that the Mangastream translation is messed up, a rare miss for them. "The Navy put it up for a huge price. And it appears some idiot pirate who is oblivious to its true value is seeking to purchase it." Probably should read: "The navy is buying it for a huge price. And it appears some idiot pirate who is oblivious to its true value is seeking to sell it." Also, I saw a wild theory on another forum that Bepo (Law's Polar Bear ally) is actually Corazon's spirit pushed into another body using Law's ability. They seem to be in a polar town. We know Law gets the fruit and goes his own way at some point. We also know that Doflamingo thinks that he has killed Corazon. So Doflamingo must deliver some sort of killing blow. But if Law has the Ope Ope fruit and any ability to use it, he could transfer Corazon's soul. If Doflamingo uses a killing blow on Corazon and Vergo beats down Law, but doesn't kill him because they don't want to waste the fruit. Then that may leave Law with an opportunity to push Corazon's soul out. He might not even realize that he's done it and the Soul may find its own body by taking over a polar bear. Then later on, Bepo could join Law's crew to watch over him without even telling him. Pretty doubtful, but would be interesting.

This can't be right. Corazon doesn't say sorry all the time and Corazon would have to be physically alive for his spirit to be moved around like that. Thanks for clearing up the little misunderstanding though.
