Zero no Tsukaima. Neon Genesis Evangelion
Code Geass R2
+ Show Spoiler +There is no circumstances that I would ever want to watch something as horrible as Lucky Star, so I won't mention it. At least those other bad shows have some redeemable qualities.
I barely agree with any of it, what the fuck are Lelouch, Haruhi, and Yuki doing getting votes?
What the fuck, MADOKA got votes in this thing? Picture not even worth discussion, its too retarded.

I recently finished watching Full Metal Alchemist, both the 2003 one and Brotherhood. I loved both of them, although I have a slight preference towards the 2003 version, but both are extremely awesome never the less. These 2 are probably my favorite anime series. One that I also just finished catching up on was Gintama. This series is SICK nice. Really. They have some really nice arcs with a lot of touching messages, but mostly just jokes. ALOT of jokes. And its fucking hilarious. This is one I can definitively recommend. Another one that I watched along time ago was Elfen Lied . This one is a short series of 12 episode which is also really cool. If you like violence, this is one for you. The next series I'm gonna watch is either Death Note or Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. And yes, the only reason I want to watch Tengen Toppa is because Yoko looks so damn nice. Anyways, do you guys have recommendations? Which one would you watch? Elfen Lied? 2004. 8 years old, impossible to watch, too old. Death Note? That's like 5 years old, also too old. TTGL? Also like 5 years old. Old crap, impossible to watch, I can only watch modern visual masterpieces like Ika Musume and Infinite Stratos. Wut? No way man, I've watched both recently ( finished gurren lagann yesterday) and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Both death note and TTGL are worth watching. On the topic of TTGL: + Show Spoiler +Wow the first half of the series was actually kinda normal I guess, I enjoyed it. The second half was just insany batshit crazy. It was just one power trip after another and every episode they went wilder. At the end they were throwing entire galaxies at each other in the 10th dimension wtf? Only reason I started watching was because of Yoko and after seeing the video when I'm bored I thought it was going to be a pretty light hearted anime. It didn't turn out to be anything like that though. Still I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it, and the ending was really solid. + Show Spoiler +Spoilers, I was mocking Emnjay, who thinks anime over 5 years old is too old and shitty to watch. I thought my sarcasm was obvious when I was mentioning IS and Ika Musume as modern visual masterpieces.

I don't. Edward Elric should be the most badass.

Oh sorry I didn't catch on that, I haven't been visiting this thread for long. And I don't know IS and Ika Musume T_T.

I thought being voiced by Wakamoto was a prerequisite to be considered truly badass.
So most badass is obviously Charkes zi Brittania!

can't tell if joke or serious

Maybe they should divide up the human badasses and monstrous badasses.

obviously the reddit thing by votes has just popular stuff x.x it's like dumb votings taken on 2chan or something, maybe worse due to it being more open to people who probobly have seen not much anime. i don't want to be elitist it's just that it's an obvious extreme fallacy in things like these, any actual criticism can't be placed correctly.

No Zeorymer no Gai no Nanoha no Fate no Sanger no Trombe definitely troll and seriously? No master Asia or Domon Kashuu? or even Schwartz? Troll harder, reddit.

I'm gonna reccommend the read or die OVAs, pretty much perfect for the contain lists, the tv series is slightly slice of life for like half of it, then gets to be cool adventure/action but it's later

Thanks! I was going to recommend a lot of stuff until I saw past 2 years...... ummmm.... Fate/Zero? Dude everything nowadays have romance in them......you are making it way too hard for me. Just watch Gun X Sword or Zeorymer or Gear Senshi Dendoh or something. No way elementary school kids can have high school drama.

No. 00 sucks. Watch Gundam Wing or even Seed, Gundam AGE is getting good now that the little kiddies have grown up. If you're looking for that kind of series watch Kaze no Stigma, magic, supernatural and lots of action. Also Perhaps Shakugan No Shana (not very much school drama after first season, and even then the school is only involved in the first 5 episodes of the 3 season show).
@ Reddit's Badass Anime Characters:
To be honest I feel like they really got it all wrong. The most badass character of all time has to be Roy Mustang from the FMA series, or more specifically in Brotherhood. Not only does he outshine Edward Elric, the main character from this show but he literally is a boss. When Ed and Al couldn't even stop one bad guy, Roy waltzes in after nearly dying to this same bad guy and has to sealing his wounds with his flame, then proceeds to burn the shit out of said bad guy. He does this multiple times. It's like he doesn't even try the entire series until he avenges his friend.
Just my thoughts.

The badass-ness of a character is easily defined by how awesome their wingman is.
