But after reading a little on reddit, I think it's a good ending. The characters all grew up ; I think it tie up everything nicely.

It's been a while since a first episode has impressed me so much. So charming, and absolutely loving the performance of the voice actors.

(not gonna mention which because spoilers and too lazy for multiple spoilers each time i switch from talking about one series to another(+ OPM anime vs manga vs webcomic, too much of a hassle) I firmly believe Hori (bnha author) at least to some degree took some inspiration from OPM, he's also a huge fan of the super hero comics of the west so i think it's a given that he's been reading OPM given its super hero setting. I like both a lot tho, bnha with its more serious approach and OPM with its less serious approach. Both are probably my two favourite series to follow atm (bnha manga and OPM webcomic, specifically. bnha anime is also amazing tho and OPM manga is finally getting back on track after 1½ year of manga original stuff.) I don't read the manga so wasn't sure about the timeline, seemed pretty dam close together to be merely a coincidence. Just noticed how dam similar the settings were while I was watching last night. Thought maybe the authors may have mentioned something. Definitely pretty cool stuff and like what he's doing. It is a bit weird that the Japanese manage to write Superman better than the creators themselves lol. Can you imagine Henry Cavil being the beacon of peace?? There's a lot of inspiration from other sources but execution of his own ideas are enough to make it enjoyable. Just finished S1 and while it was pretty fun I hope things bit more creative. While is enjoyable seeing an unflinching Superman power through I do like the more ingenious fighting you see in HxH for example. The quirk system is interesting in that it just lets the author do whatever he wants but I kind of miss carefully crafted rules like Nen or Allomancy.

You'll like s2 i think as it goes somewhat more into detail with how quirks function for their users, but ultimately they're too varied and unique for a real rule based system to really function, however the individual restrictions and limitations of quirks do exist, they aren't free from rules but they're more on a quirk-by-quirk basis with few exceptions and general rules Also All Might is an amazing character

For me, this was the best Monogatari has been since season2. So I'd personally say Season2 + Owari-s2 have been the strongest parts for me. It's a good ending to what has been 8 years of monogatari. Truthfully a fair bit less for me since I jumped on the wagon only when I got in here but you get the idea. + Show Spoiler + If I had to rank the individual arcs I'd consider Mayoi hell to be slightly weaker than Hitagi Rendezvous and Ougi Dark. I'd disagree on the point that the scenery and artistic background was not needed. Especially going for that artstyle they generally only use for ED's and using it in the episode itself got some smiles out of me as I'm a big fan of that. Generally felt like the weird Shaft art helped here since it's suppsed to be... well... hell Hitagi Rendesvouz was obviously godlike. Not quite on the same level as the date at the end of Bakemonogatari in pure terms of quality for me but we got lots more with some Ougi in between so I won't complain. Seeing her go out of her way to get that date was just plain glorious. As well as all those minor things like not being able to perform her own OP song when doing Karaoke. Trying to get him to call her by her first name was cute and the only thing I had to complain about is that I for some reason thought her voice was lower than it used to be. Not sure if that's true, have not double checked that yet And then the big finale we had with Ougi Dark. I still maintain that it should be a weird watch if you didn't catch that she was pretending to be the Darkness/involved with the Darkness back in season2 and everything inbetween going as far as to heavily imply that she "killed" Hachikuji or at the very least was involved in it when talking with Araragi etcetc. Or I'd assume so as the "twist" that she was only fooling him/viewers into thinking so without actually being involved with it at all really doesn't do anything for you if you didn't think so in the first place. As I said in an earlier spoiler, it was hard to explain without spoiling big time though... Anyways, glorious finale between Ougi and Araragi and really nice to see him stand up for himself and getting past that usual thing of his we got to see again in the end of Mayoi hell earlier. I've got to say the music in particular got me this time around. I always find some tracks of the OST that I love after the fact. Going back to youtube, searching for that one specific track that ran in a specific scene and such, but with this I've come to realize much more how much I like the music while watching than previously I guess? All in all this has been a great ending to this series. So good in fact that I wonder wether they'll continue to adapt after this or call it a day. I've said before that I want to see Zoku, Off-season and Monster-season as well as that's all stuff I have no idea about. But this ending was a) so good that I wouldn't mind them ending it here. At least for the anime and leave the rest to books only and b) from reading the synopsis of Zoku I can't help but get the feeling that it's a glorified victory lap Let me be clear once more, that's speculation on my point and I really don't know what it's like yet but that's the idea I get from it. + Show Spoiler [just me ranting a bit, no spoiler] + Off-season obviously would be something different so the question is wether or not Monster-season will be a true start to a new season but that seems incredibly hard to pull off. Monogatari has always been this large overarching story we came closer to figuring out with every new book, with every new season. Be it the season1 stuff from Bake-,Nise-Kizu- and Nekomonogatari that provided the introduction for this series, Season 2 that got more into the nitty-gritty and finally all the s3 stuff that provided the conclusion to all this. It has always been that epic overarching story for us. So that's the point that makes me wonder if it's able to pull that off. Is he going to ignore that? Is it just going to be a self-contained s4? That again, to me, would probably feel like victory laps more than anything else. I'd still love them but they'd never be able to step ouf of the shadow of the season1-3 stuff for me personally. The alternative might be to start a new "overarching arc". That's a possibility given the setting of Shinobumonogatari. But that might involve getting rid of characters that aren't relevant anymore and get at least some new maincharacters to really make it feel like it's a start of a new chapter. I don't see Araragi, Shinobu or Hitagi going anywhere in the future but I don't see him being awfully involved with Nadeko either to give an example. (Yes I know Nademonogatari is a thing but that seems like a sidestory more than anything else to me) So long story short: That might annoy a large amount of fans who happen to like a certain character. So long long story short, I think I'm really good with this being the end for the anime. Maybe give me ZokuOwarimonogatari as a special and that's it. ///FORGOT THE MOST IMPORTANT PART: + Show Spoiler [Owari ending] + AWWWWW THAT SHINOBU ENDING :3

Remember how that was 4 episodes but on CR / Horriblesubs it ended up as one giant episode pasted together with OP's and EDs cut inbetween? It's a bit like that Owari s2 ep1 is 20 minutes long, just as any other episode. Episode 1 + 2 together make for the first arc so they combined THAT into one episode on Crunchyroll. So if you watched Crunchyroll episode 1 you watched episode 1+2. If you watched Crunchyroll episode 2 you watched episode 3+4 because that's the next arc they combined into just one video. If you watched Crunchyroll episode 3 you watched episode 5+6+7 because that's the last arc they combined into just one video. So yes, if you watched the 3 CR "episodes" that's it. Which is probably what you mean with that question, right? No I was more asking if there is more to come for Owari S2 then the 3 "episodes" that were put out on CR.

If you watched everything from Bake up to Owari-2 you better damn watch the rest of it as well. You're committed at that point in time. If you just tried watching the grand finale of a fairly long running series without knowing about the previous works in the line, either "no, you won't understand a thing" or "start from the beginning" (which would be Bakemonogatari just on the offchance that this actually happened twice in this thread now)

I've only watched Monotagari, I felt like I was totally out of the loop, I was told later the series relies on a bunch of Japanese language puns so I didn't think it was for me. I did like the ending of the first series though, got more closure from that than most series.

I don't think most of them are that important to understand the story. It is cool later after you learn some japanese/kanji because they do add to the show. The only story arc that I think would be confusing is Mayoi Snail.

One thing I am wondering is + Show Spoiler + Why does Shinobu call Koyomi master? Isn't he the minion? Is it because of whatever Meme did? Though she still acts that way even when they both revert back to their previous forms. Also why does she want to be a loli smh just stay in your glorious adult form.
