+ Show Spoiler [GGO] +Considering how convenient everything's been, let me guess: Pito is Elsa because they won't shut up about her Therefore M stands for manager
I dunno about this show. The in-game events range from entertaining to utterly stupid (and occasionally both). The IRL stuff I don't care for at all.
"Better written than SAO" is a pretty damn low bar, and I'm not even sure it clears that. Still getting more enjoyment out of this than Franxx though.

She couldn't show up on the same day as the concert. Was pretty much a dead giveaway.

Yeah. They're not exactly subtle about it.

I think M stands for the M in S&M considering how crazy they are and how willing he is to be punished by her.

I think M stands for male because clearly the majority of players in GGO are cute girls.

Flashbacks are probably only going to be 1&1/2 episodes long. I have absolutely no idea when they're going to end this season though. + Show Spoiler [manga spoiler] +Like, it won't be that many more episodes to get to the tournament, and we're only at episode 6. We're only just finishing the regiment now in the manga, and going that close to the end seems really weird.

have not watched the most recent GGO episode yet (I think? + Show Spoiler +the last one I saw was with her meeting M for the first time. Was there one after that? but tbh I don't really care what it stands for. All I need to know is that their innitial team between Leen and M was team LM. You pronounce it: Team EL-EM
That is all I need to know
Also unrelated, but this idol is going places (she got a twitter account a couple days ago):

I also don't care much of what happens in real life in alt GGO. I much prefer the game world. From that perspective, this latest episode was really boring: + Show Spoiler +I don't care that she's an SAO loser, wtf. She's obsessed with death? ok....?

thanks for these suggestions guys:

The real answer is to read more manga. Seinen as a whole is just far more prolific in manga. Koi Kaze - will watch, sounds really interesting. Genshiken - will watch, remember reading synopsis before. Hourou Musuko - it's an anime based around kids which might make it a bit rough to take seriously. Given, it's an interesting topic and has good reviews so I'll give it a watch. Wonder if 11 episodes is enough for this though hmm. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien - I actually got this recommend years ago. Tried to watch it but I remember that something about the animation really ticked me off. Glad you brought it up because I've been trying to remember the name to give it another try. Why do you despise it btw? Uchuu Kyoudai - I actually have this on my ptw list but there's no romance tag. I thought it was mostly slice of life?
These three anime below seem total random too. No romance or comedy tags either. Not to say that they are bad anime, will probably look into them after I watch a couple more romcoms. Hyouge Mono, Miss Hokusai and Tentai Senshi Sunred

Emma probably counts as well. interesting you mention paradise kiss. I actually started watching Neighborhood stories which is apparently the prequel to Paradise Kiss and both are written by Nana's writer, one of her manga. Paradise Kiss is supposedly what she's recognized for. Given, having watched a decent amount of Neighborhood stories, it's a relaxing watch but doesn't hold a candle to Nana. I partially blame the animation here.

Miura why do you do this to me........ :'(

I would say that "Slice of Life" is the wrong way to describe Space Bros. Space Brothers has an actual direction and plot to it, where slice of life shows tend to not have any cohesive plot its following (at least on the surface). Its really good, btw.

Hourou Musuko does more in eleven episodes than some anime directors wish they could do in a lifetime. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Don't let the fact that it has kids as the main characters fool you.

Those last few are less adults doing adult things and more adults doing things.
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien is just everything I hate about "adult romance". Paper thin drama and exasperating characters basically. Drama isn't a bad thing, but when it's exaggerated emotions racing at 200mph I tend to start rolling my eyes. It's why I gravitate more towards stuff like Yonensei.

Huh. I never noticed my Hourou Musuko review broke the top of the review list. I don't actually like it that much. This is probably a good chance to rewrite it or something.
I'm the Milkis of anime.
