I don't give a two hoods after sitting through age, honestly.
what he wrote makes sense imo: "Specifically, Tomino, who is directing the series, was quoted as saying, “Preexisting fans of Gundam won’t be able to understand it…I’m not making this for you, so please show it to your children and grandchildren, instead.” so he's just pinning his hopes on the new generation solving whatever issues Japan seems to be facing since he makes a lot of comments about politicians and their handling of things.
what about all the lessons that preexisting gundam fans learnt from watching the previous series? I agree hes more disappointed at them and therefore decided to focus on the current youth.
guess to him, they didn't learn as much as he hoped thus focusing on the new generations provides him with another opportunity to better things.

I hope she dies. Shes just a nerfed Dianna clone, and goody has suceeded in getting me to hate her. I mean seriously, how the hell can somebody go so crazy over a clone when all she has done is puff out her cheeks when pouting?

Just went straight to Umineko 5 also instead of doing a reread. I looks like they went straight to Natsuhi and explained most of the questions I had when we find out Kinzo was dead. I don't think it was Natsuhi now since solving the culprit so early would be lame. This chapter seems to be poking fun of the concept of actually trying to solve a mystery like battler was doing through episode 4 with the introduction of Erika. I think Sent said 6-8 was more about motivations behind the people which I'm liking so far. Natsuhi seems incredibly pitiful so far. Think I'll finish episode 5 today probably
Erika is really abusive with what the 'detective' can do. If you ever do reread episodes 1-4, keep in mind all the stuff the detective can do. And prepare your body for the end of episode 5. So good.
On the trail right now. Erika is fucking nuts. By keeping in mind what detectives can do do you mean as battler? Also do knox rules apply 2 the first 4 also?
Yes, but only for the "piece" Battler in episode 1-4. Meta-Battler isn't the detective, for all intents and purposes.

Tomino is just crazy. Thats what I take away from all his interviews. They are amusing to read.

Heres a Tomino Quote:
As I mentioned earlier, there is this political theorist, Hannah Arendt, whom I admire deeply. She wrote about the possibilities of totalitarianism. What I'd like to do, if I ever have an opportunity to create another Gundam-like series, is to use this theme. The possibilities of totalitarianism and the dangers of it. I would embed it into this work and tell the story of totalitarianism and its dangers using robots or cute anime.
See, that last line is a clear sign of insanity. The dangers of totalitarianism shown with cute anime? lol. You can be both insane and brilliant, though. Its not like you have to be either one or the other.
Is sibling marriage actually illegal in Japan or not?
Mahouka was clearly written by an only child, and a distrubed one at that. It's more than just really heavily implied now... I keep on wishing that it turns out that they aren't siblings but this just seems futile.
when we learned about Mussolini Beatrice I was surprised but had figured he got the gold during the war somehow
Oh shit didn't know you were reading it too! If you were talking about it I missed your post.
Just finished all of five. Oh man that ending was some of the sickest shit ive read. + Show Spoiler +
Battler new Gamemaster WTF!
Fuck it rereading chapter 1-4 cause and paying more attention because.I love the author
Some random thoughts I got from this episode. And before I start back on Episode 1 + Show Spoiler +
There is someonelse named beatrice on the island....err then that means someone other than kinzo isnt there but looks like they are? each story is someones elses eyes or version Kannon or shannon no more than they let on about it or involved. Kumasawa was actually beatrices mentor and taught her at the secret mansion. Kinzo's "Bastards" are at the orphanage he funds so kannon and shannon possibly?" Guy gets around maybe? Jessica may not be Natsuhis real daughter(just basing this on hair color lol) Battler and ange are real brother and sister(based on hair color again lol) That means neither are Kyries? Maybe she had 2 miscarriages? This shit is meta and beatrice represents Ryukishi07

End of episode 5 was soooo good. Episode 6 is pretty good too, and its the last episode you have to figure out on your own, who the culprit is, before they pretty much tell you who it is. I was able to figure out who it was, like mid-way through episode 6. Episode 7 doesn't out-right say who the culprit is, but I you'd have to be pretty dense not to get it.
And it does get meta, but not meta enough for Beato to represent Ryukishi07 lol. Also, look forward to some of the Red Truths that are gonna get busted out in Episode 6!

Rosa. I don't know why they didn't explain why it couldn't of been her who caused the first twilight in episode 5. I just assumed I accidentally didn't pay attention to reading something. But she seem like the most capable in most of the situations in the game. Eva seems like she was too obviously. 3rd and 4th suspect i would guess would be shannon and kannon. and 5th would be...Gohda....only because thats the last person I would think it is...lol

Yeah, just finished it all today, took me about 10 days for all 8 Episodes.
I must say it became pretty confusing some times, when we had 3 layers of worlds or observers, gameboards or what ever..
I personally found chapter 6 the weakest, and found then end of 5 the best.

1) /join #horriblesubs 2) open http://xdcc.club/ in a browser 2.5) find the animu you're looking for (search for name + episode number + 720p or whatever you want to not get 149851058951016 different versions) 2.75) click the animu you want, a popup should appear in your browser. 3) Copy and paste that pop-up into your irc shit

I dunno, episode 7 seemed the weakest too me, given it was essentially an info dump, designed to spell out what people already should have figured out. Although I guess there were some new things it brought to light, or elaborated on that you wouldn't have been able to figure out yourself.

He could always just use Tokyo Toshokan, if he doesn't want to bother with IRC.
