After re-watching some Season 1 episodes of Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon. Why exactly did that Motonobu and Futayo's dad self destruct Mikawa? My only thought was so Horizon would have governing power over Musashi. They showed that one Symbol when Mikawa was overloading, the that turned into "Please kill me all". Did that have some significance to Mikawa being destroyed or to the PA ODA guys OR something that's related to the overall story line like the world being destroyed? I didn't notice this question earlier, oops, how could I.
Sent, you probably didn't ask that exact question. At least, you can't have gotten a long answer to it. Because other than conjectures there are still nothing firm as to why the destruction of Mikawa was necessary. What you did get a wall of text was probably the consequences of the destruction of Mikawa along with the Matsudaira clan and vassals rather than the reason itself.
To spare you of random guesses steryl, Mikawa's destruction was probably necessary as a part of the PA Oda plan to save the world.

I always assumed that the destruction of Mikawa was a type of "catalyst" in order to save the world. Then again wasn't the revelation of Horizon and the deadly sins of equal or possibly more importance than Mikawa itself?

that's the best part about it souma. The level of disguise is probably around Toys 'R Us turning their "are" into an R and turning it around and yet noone realizes. I still find it annoying that you do this.
why the fuck do you call manga "show", and chapters "episodes".
|
Just edited the episode to chapter like a couple of minutes ago ^^
I generally use the term "show" to any story from entertainment medium like anime, reading materials or tv shows, etc. Idk i prefer to call it that way .. It's sort of a slang for me.
Sorry if that bugged you BR. I'll try to fix my habit on interchanging episode and chapter though.

Then again wasn't the revelation of Horizon and the deadly sins of equal or possibly more importance than Mikawa itself? Well, the whole thing from Matsudaira Motonobu was basically to spur the world into action by tossing a bunch of random shit with great consequences at it, comparing the significance of the bunch of things that he did...eh, he did a lot of shit. You just only learned 2 of them in vol 1.
The destruction of Mikawa throws a wench into the historical reenactment plan, possibly the most since the collapse of the other world overimposing a bunch of things onto the current world. It was definitely a catalyst in that sense as to see how the world would respond. The alliance of nations under the Church ignored it and tries to move on without a physical Mikawa. PA Oda always had their own thing, and Musashi is in the process of coming up with a concrete answer to it all.
The presence of Horizon had just as much impact on a political front just because she is a new OP weapon...well, the OS of the ones out there anyway. Given how the balance of the states up to this point had been hanging on the armament of mortal sins (or however they translated it), that obviously stirs things up too. Her possible role as a tool to save the world is also a nice bit of bonus on top of that.
iirc it wasn't covered in the animes, but up to this point we've been told implicitly that the destruction of Mikawa was a necessary part of the PA Oda plan. While the role of Horizon in world-saving is still more or less unknown. So if we were to go based on what has been told, I'd say that the erasure of Mikawa definitely showed more significance thus far.

Uwakoi is by the author of Aki Sora. I distinctly remember all the characters looking like they came straight out of Aki Sora, which was amusing. I also remember the plot being some of the stupidest bullshit drama I've ever read. For that matter, I don't even remember why I finished Aki Sora in the first place, because that also got dumb pretty quick.
Shit isn't even well drawn enough to be decent smut.

In the meantime i am reading this Tonari No Kashiwagi-san . has some cute scenes from the lead lady from time to time but just standard romance SoL.

So same author with Aki Sora. I could not finish the first chapter of aki sora tbh. Yep i definitely looked in the wrong place for the kind of shit that i am looking for. lol
Although it was stupid sometimes since I don't see too many mistress type romances so I had fun of that with Uwakoi.

Started watching Ano Hana, not really a spoiler but 6 episodes in and wanted to bitch + Show Spoiler +This Jintan motherfucker seems stupid right now and I am beginning to loathe him for handling every situation so poorly. Character interaction seems spotty and I hope this gets cleared up in the next episodes. Seems like poor writing atm but maybe the next eps have a large burden on them.

I love anohana. I don't think it's bad writing at all, just everyone has their own way to deal with pent up feelings.

Well one thing that I really dislike that I either missed or hasn't been explained... + Show Spoiler +People feel heavier when menma jumps on them. She can interact with physical objects and make muffins? Can she literally not prove to other people she's there? It would instantly make other people WTF if Jintan was like, "k you're gonna feel heavier in a sec, go jump on em menma. Or pick up anything around you and make it float". The point may not be to prove she's around or there, but it would make things much simpler.

+ Show Spoiler [SAO2 11] + What a slow ass episode. Nothing actually happened for 20+ minutes.
And speaking of ass, main characters of this show are probably Kirito and Sinon's ass. Hers even got more air-time than Klein.
Anyhow it looks like the end of this cour will be the end of this arc as well, guess from ep12 title that is similar to the novel title. Aw next arc is gonna suck T_T

yes sao2 has been so damn slow. A/Z is also slow as well. and tokyo teenager terrorist at this stage is a giant facepalm

+ Show Spoiler [Aldnoah Zero] +What happened to that guy torturing Slaine after he realized that the princess was still alive.
Do we just assume he died or something, I think I missed that scene.
