That certainly isn't under the radar at all lol
Really? When it 1st came out I don't really remember people talking about it much. Also note I said in the grand scheme of things, I really don't think it gets the attention compared to a lot of shows that came out around the same time.
well, it's on the chart in the note above the thread
But yeah, people don't really talk about it, it is generally known and well received though.
The past few days, I've been at AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta). For like the first time I can remember, they actually have had guests here that I'm actually interested in. And I ended up spending wayyyyy too much money.
The copy of Gundam: The Origin volume 2, I also got signed by Toru Furuya, the Voice Actor for Amuro Ray. Unfortunately they didn't allow any pictures for that event, unfortunately I don't have any pictures of me and him.
That Black Shin Getter 1, and Shin Getter 2 I got at this... Anime Garage Sale thing on Day 0. Basically people selling their random anime stuff for really cheap. This Black Shin Getter for example, goes for like $180 on Ebay, but I essentially robbed the guy and got it for $15.
Was finally able to track down an in-stock Stark Jegan. Got a spray can of top coat, and I'm going to experiment some with that sometime in the future. The Nyarlko figure I got was extremely cheap for a figure its size, so I got it. The Gunbuster was fairly cheap too, but its not actually posable, unfortunately.
Continued my quest to buy all volumes of One Piece. Also got Robot Spirits, an art book by Masami Obari, who is the most Obari as Fuck artist in the world. Full of great robots.
Also went to the MIQ concert. When she finally came onto the stage, the concert was pretty good. However, the part leading up to her was pretty terrible. They had some random group of people perform, and everything they did was either meh or down right terrible. I don't think I've ever heard Macross Frontier's 2nd OP sung worse, god damn. However, MIQ saved us. She didn't do The Winner, but she did her other songs, and sung Real Folks Blues from Cowboy Bebop, which apparently is something she has only done once in public, even in Japan. People were calling for an encore at the end, and she came back out and did Time for L-Gaim.
Anyone heard of Karen Senki and if it's supposed to be good? It sounds like it bores some inspiration from the matrix or at least that's what it felt like.
woaaah that guy is fucken nuts when sinnon was fighting back i was wondering if she was gonna get the gun from her drawer and shoot him. Also i liked how she checked all her rooms when she woke up, (altought i probably would have jumped straight up ran for the kitchen to grab a knife and then checked the rooms >.> <.< definitely scary to imagine someone in ur house when ur sleep, so i wonder if the following eps are all going to be about finding the our laughing coffin members, well i assume kirito beats the crap out of the rapist especially with all that kendo fighting he does and plus the rapist seems pretty weak like he put everything into GGO so that probably means a million hours and no exercise GO KIRITO kick his ass. Then with that guy caught getting his brother should be no problem but i dont know about the last one cause they did say there might be another murderer. oh and it turns out kirito can block with his sword huh i thought he couldnt, he took a ton of damage tho.

This is all conjecture on my part based off some snippets of stuff I have read and those generally tend to focus on story/drama developments so I would take that with a grain of salt and ask someone who has actually read them.
hmm him having that personality makes sense to a degree through the hints they showed us though they were really subtle and I feel we needed more or something. Kirito also coming but without the police lol. She'll probably just end up shooting him to save Kirito and they are even now (he saved her in game).

she likely will get the gun. I mean Kirito does know kendo to a degree but how much does he practice it? Seemed like he was the guy's equal from the small bit we saw there. Ya, I would've been more careful checking as in prepared myself incase someone is there. I also thought the same about the sword.

I really wish they did a S2 though.
If all of us believe together it will happen. Believe with me!
Ended on a good note though still lots of things that need an explanation etc... looks like we're getting an ova or something with that ending. Hope its true!
In Tokyo ESP the logic of the villians seems pretty stupid. Oh and yet another "hey here is some intriguing shit happening behind the scenes stuff that will be covered later on. Syke we probably won't make it anymore so go buy the manga!" shit.

Tatsuya is Jesus. There's nothing confirmed about a second season but apparently the series did well in Japan that a second season wouldn't be too surprising. Season 1 covered six light novel volumes and there's enough content written already for a second if Madhouse decides to continue on with it.
