If you come in here looking for "anime recommendations" then please refer to this chart before posting: Anime Recommendations (as of may 2014). We also have an IRC channel called #tladt where we all hang out. The channel is on Rizon, not QuakeNet! Feel free to check it out. TLADT discord is Discord.ggFor currently airing anime, please see Anichart.net |
Is it just me or that by removing school days people have busted out their full arsenal of trolling items.

I never liked the anime that was on TV when I was younger and basically the only stuff I have watched are Ghibli movies, which I really liked. Now I watched "Attack on Titan" and it was really awesome as well and the first anime series that I enjoyed.
I am looking for series that create a really awesome and foreign world with strange creatures like in Nausicaa, Attack on Titan etc or strange stuff like a moving castle etc...I think you catch my drift. Basically if the series could have been created with real actors (without putting millions into CGI) I am not interested in it. I see moving castle I think SAO season1 lol. VRMMO world with monsters and a floating castle (well not moving, but still castle), and tentacle lab researcher rofl. This one may be a love-it-or-hate-it though. For ongoing anime, as BurningSera recommended, Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis and Cross Ange are good. For completed one, may be you can try Code Geass Have you seen Howl's before...?

Fma bh is really good noob friendly anime.

Mnemosyne is actually decent though compared to school days. It's just a bit strange. One could say it's definitely not hetero.

At the minimum it has Noto making weird noise going for it.

sadly no. wasn't seriously into watching anime at all before 2013, only started watching regularly recently. And a very sad thing is that I actually haven't watch any of Hayao Miyazaki's work T__T

Howl's Moving Castle novel was sooooooo good. I highly encourage people who have and have not seen the Miyazaki movie to read it.
|
tbf howl's moving castle was pretty meh compared to the rest of ghibli films, plot felt real erratic then again I watched it quite a while ago so i'm not sure if I comprehended it correctly as a teen
i heard it's based off a book but i haven't gotten around to reading it well guess i gotta go read it now

The movie doesn't do the book justice, but it was a decent eyecandy to watch. That said, it is imo one of the weaker films out of Ghibli.

Is the bad end also the true end in the school days VN? I hear its a lot better than the anime and I liked the anime a lot so it might be worth for me to put it in my VN backlog.
|
True end is strip battle days, to be released this month.
Honestly there isn't really anything like a continuity with School Days so there isn't really anything that you'd call a true end. For hilarity factors though I'd say Makoto falling for a trap end is best end. That and random Kuroda scheming for harem ends.
There are more variation to bad ends in games though, but honestly shit is pretty shit so I wouldn't recommend wasting time on it in general. Can be ok for a laugh though.

I found the one with a saw/ bread knife ontop of a lively bridge to be quite funny
