you'd think making a thread about it would give a little bit more hype....:/

I think most people just don't know how to go about watching anime that isn't streamed by CR/Funi. It's legit really good so I don't really understand otherwise.

Me and BR's weeks of hyping it up is justified now isnt it lol
there is no need to go super uber brilliant/smart story telling etc, you make some non-lazy/interesting characters/plot devices, easy/digestive story development, a little twists once in awhile, throw in some hot blooded stuffs and good/interesting fightings, bam, decent shounen. There isn't a lot to ask and then you wonder why shounen genre/(market) has been contaminated so badly in the past 4/5 years by the likes like naruto/bleach

I just hope that by the end of 2 cours people will actually read the manga, or better yet make it so that I don't carry that thread.

I like Nanatsu.
Best part is that Ban sounds exactly like Haru from Tonari: "Tanchou~"

Thank you. Also exactly this.

The part where "they fuck like rabbits" is part of the package but that's not the part i am really excited about. Just like Icehism said it's the living together side by side that i want to watch(and also all those other reactions from the society, their friends, parents , employer or whatever).
Tbh if i just wanna watch for that "fucking" part i'd rather watch porn that has multiple girls and one guy.

Could i get a story where i don't have to feel like everyone is an asshole. And certainly not something that tries hard to be comedic. Hmm the semi-decent polygamy that i found would probably be "Honeymoon Salad" it has almost no conflicts between characters. (This is probably the best polygamy that i found so far, not like there are a lot of polygamy anime/manga to begin with anyways)

Nanatsu no Taizai manga is fairly popular in Japan afaik.

Currently watching ep37 of death note. God, that ending is so bad. -.- I guess I will write a little bit more when I finished it.

There are very few differences between the ending of the manga and the ending of the anime. If you didn't like one ending i doubt you'll like the other. I didn't mind the ending though, it was to be expected(I hated the build-up to the ending but not the ending itself). Death note is imho overrated and the second part of it is quite honestly just bad and not interesting at all compared to the first part. But to me it seems a lot of people ignore that when they rate it or talk about it or recommend it to others.

+ Show Spoiler [Death Note] +Well, those episodes 27-37 have been a torture to go through. I thought the first half of the anime was quite good, Light and L building an intersting rival duo. Conclusions and strategies were kind of well put. I enjoyed it. Everything up to ep 26 I could bare with even if it got a bit ridiculous towards the end. But the following episodes...I just don't know what they were thinking. Mello was one freaking retard that made no sense at all and appeared at random with random conclusions that led to the fall of Kira - somehow. N was a bit better but he would almost always pull conclusions and plans out of thin air. On the other hand, Light wasn't his former self, making so many strange mistakes like with the writing-blogs in the hotel. In the end, I can't believe they made to retards catch Kira when L couldn't do it. That was so damn dissatisfying. Also the way it worked out in the end. Two episodes full of "I won", "everything as planned", "I saw through you, so I did this", "but I expected that so I did this", "but I expected THAT so I did this"...blablabla...random chain of events pulled off either their asses. And then the stupid hysteria of Light.
I think I will give this series 6/10, overall it was decent. But only because the first half was good. I should have quit by episode 26 and let that be my ending for death note.

I might do that. Thanks for suggesting.

I'm with you there. I think it's a mediocre show that had a strong start and went downhill really fast. People are just really thirsty for "edgy" things while also not bothering to really delve into good literature to fill this so they ignore just ignore the faults of shows like that.

Yeah, Parasyte has grown on me (pun not intended, but I'm a natural so it just happens). In the beginning it was interesting, but now it is one of the shows I look forward to the most this season.

Similar seat here (with the mange). The start was strong , but went downhill around halfway through. And the ending made it feel like I wasted time reading it, even if the start was pretty strong

Ok, seems like more people feel this way than I expected after seeing the ratings.
