Recently, she did the persona 3 movies where she voices Mitsuru who has the serious onee-san voice. The other one is neptunia who has two different voices depending on what form she's in

The original NGE TV series is, I feel, divided into two parts. The first half is a sort of episodic show about a young boy with a serious case of "I'm a pussy" who pilots a robot to defeat alien invaders, referred to as "Angels." The show operates on a monster of the week format and, for the most part, displays some pretty unique ways of taking down the Angels. There's character development here and there, but the primary focus is on finding inventive ways of tackling each Angel, which all have varying abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. If there's drama, it doesn't really take any significant role in the story. At one point, though, I think the studio behind NGE started running out of money, and Anno was also undergoing a serious case of depression. At this point, this is where the show just takes a massive nosedive for a lot of people (or alternatively a huge boost depending on what you like) because the episodic elements go away and whole episodes are spent on panning shots, minute long silences, and long, drawn out monologues, some to do with philosophy, others with the main character's psychological state. Again, not that much drama, but admittedly more than before. All of this culminates in a final two episodes that bear no resemblance to the animation quality of the first 10-14 episodes. Some people hate it because they feel it's been reduced to philosophical pandering that's just trying to be deep but in reality is just pretentious garbage (which is pretty credible considering that Anno threw in a bunch of Christian symbolism along with other religious icons specifically because they, and this is paraphrasing his words, "look cool"). Others think that the ending is great because it's a great example of solipsism and the main character's development through various motifs and his role in the story was really well developed at the end. I think when people say that Eva is a must watch, I think people say that because it's such an influential and simultaneously controversial anime (in the West at least) that it'd really be a shame not to watch it. NGE may not have invented a lot of tropes, but they certainly brought a lot of them to the forefront and definitely exaggerated a ton of them in the process. The first 12/14 episodes are also super fun and have some of my favorite monster of the week type episodes I've seen, and the way that NGE shows the people in the show just preparing to fight the Angels was super well done. Anno is a superb director in his own right and his ability to place his "camera" at certain angles and highlight a character through a still alone is pretty impressive, imo. NGE might be worth a watch for some of those elements alone. End of Eva is also my favorite anime movie just because I loved how weird it got. + Show Spoiler [NGE] + fucking tang and hospitals. Anno what a fucking god edit: also don't talk about eva too much in here pretty sure 90% of the vets hate it with a passion :3 Alright thanks a lot. Given how influential it is and how much people love/hate it, I will try to watch it then

20 years later, a lot of the unique and "innovative" appeal of NGE has been rehashed and retread so much (and, arguably, done better by dozens of other series), so Evangelion can even seem cliche and obvious to new viewers.

+ Show Spoiler + Liked the setting with the war but got lost when various names of lands came up. Showing formations and strategies in place of fighting was okayish in some places better than the same animation of enemy swinging at air ep 10 (8:36-8:42) Ecchi it has some parts nothing special but more than that busts of female chars yeah. Ending seemed kinda rushed for me (mainly ep 13 and the last shot T_T) build up was okayish. Overall okay show cant really say that I didnt enjoy it. Berserk + Show Spoiler + As for show from 1997 im not going to rant about different methods that were used other than pictures inserted were really awesome and u dont tend to see them anymore [I need to try drawing something like that] Setting - best that u can go with thats for me. From first episode I was ready that guts would be fighting monsters but connecting to the past was the main priority and that was really well done. Didnt expect that at all. Didnt like corkus well every show has to have somebody whos against MC. like how they portraiet the nobility (the queen), schemes, life and fights. Swinging that sword would really take a lot of tremendous strength in forearms and back damn. Good stuff, maybe Ill check the manga out someday

+ Show Spoiler + Way too much fighting and filler content (aka stupid one liners, screening all faces multiple times, and a lot of AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH). But what did I expect from a tournament arc... There were also some enjoyable things. Humor was good, some character development was good, the whole Genkai thing was awesome. I liked some fights as well (pretty much all of Hiei's fights). Speaking of fights, I thought the final round was the most boring one. I still don't understand why authors always think that long=awesome. It isn't. Skipped through most of Kurama's and Kuwabara's fights, watched Hiei's fight completly and then skipped through some parts of Yusuke's fight. The end of the last fight was a bit anticlimactic but episode 64-66 have been really good in the way the story was unraveled. Still, I can't help but feel it would have been better if they had dropped a few more hints to this throughout the arc. I don't like stories where everythings is pulled out the sleeve at the end. A question to those who watched it completly: How much fighting is there going to be compared to this arc? I'm thinking about dropping it if it's the same amount, especially if it's similarly boring.
