You should watch seraph then. Plenty of vampires On that note, loved the latest episode. Finally getting to see some combat though its too bad that it'll be finished in several episodes
All the other anime this weekend have been amazing as well. We got + Show Spoiler + in Nisekoi. UBW + Show Spoiler +had a great fight between Shiroe and well, Shiroe haha. Lancer also killing his master was great, serves him right. Wonder where Gilgamesh went off to . DanMachi had + Show Spoiler +the best fight of the anime so far imo and its great to see Bell-sama get the attention . World Trigger is + Show Spoiler +reaching its climax too in the fight now that the boss has come!
Just bing-watched majority of the Asian alliance attack arc for Mahouka lol. Hope we get a season two sometime in the near future

Bigfan, seraph is what sparked this lol. Don't nub it up!. I wish the rest of the anime was as gorgeous as the background art.

That's what I meant. He wasn't shown in daylight afair.
As for exceptions: There can always be exceptions. Take Hellsing for example. There are multiple ranks for vampires. Alucard is just insane but simple vampires like Sera will probably be hurt by the usual stuff like garlic, silver etc...
LOL bigfan, you just made my day xD

Loli vampires are the best vampires
And I don't really mind removing some of the weaknesses, as long as they don't sparkle. I mean out of all things, really?

Like vampires had families, pretty sure Moka could walk in the sun and weaknesses like garlic and stuff were there still but reduced to a comedy level. Overall its nice, especially when the show moves away from more the sol fantasy harem with some fights later on and into more serious territory. If anyone does try R+V I would highly recommend they skip the anime and just read the source. they did keep the transforming and mind control stuff didn't they?

The only times vampires are godly are when it's a horror story. On the other hand, horror anime is extremely rare. Therefore, you won't get godly vampires that much So it's better not to stick on to your old definition of vampires and embrace the new modern version

Was it? lol. I only saw the last post saying you wanted more actual vampire shows (something about a show giving you vampires that aren't vampires haha).

Aye BigFan. It all started because I was ranting that in Seraph the vampires are nothing more than enhanced humans that feed on blood. So saying I should go watch Seraph if I want vampires was rather funny. Twilights "vampires" are more vampire than them. Well the whole show is pretty generic so I shouldn't expect anything more except after they threw in an exact copy of the loli vamp from Vampire Bund the pressure was just too much and I had to vent lol

The vampires were coming out in daylight and ya, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. There must be a ton of vampires anime out there though and I'm sure several must be hitting the points you want, no?

All this vampire talk is reminding me of Tsukuyomi Moon Phase...which actually did a decent job of balancing the moe stuff with proper vampire stuff.
Of course, it was also an unrepentant lolicon series, so there's that.

All I remember is nekomimi modo and that I never finished it. But man, what an opening theme. 10/10 would youtube again.

There are a fair bit of OP godly vampires in R+V and that is a harem at its core lol.

Transformation? I don't recall any of them vamps transforming, yea they show bats and stuff but most vamps in R+V are like the arrogant nobles of the monster world. I think though that some of the more powerful ones had some kind of wings that they used as weapons. I think maybe they are capable of mind control type stuff? Been a while lol so details elude me. The vampires in RV are definitely better then a lot of depictions.
Another series with vamps in it JWWW the vampire girl just gets super tan really fast when she is in the sun lmao. Though I think all other traditional elements are there (she isn't as affected cause she is only half vampire).

Watched all of Ano Hana today. It had some melodrama'ish tendencies but it was that bad in that regard. The story told was actually really beautiful and had a lot of power. I almost thought they would ruin the ending and I'm glad they didn't. The ending didn't make me cry but it was close, had a big lump in my throat. What I found to be really weird is that I didn't really like the characters aside from Poppo but could still sympathise with them and understand them. Anyways, this was a good watch.

2 questions: What anime is this from and can you recommend it?
also Im looking for a specific anime, i only remember a few things: It was about a Demon Lord that was kind of obsessed with the Human world (i remember a Final Fantasy joke in the first episode). By mistake a Human Girl suddenly appears in this demon world (i think she even died and is a spirit or something). The anime is kinda recent, I think 2013 maybe 2012. Thats about all I remember :X ty in advance.

That anime sounds like Blood Lad, though the guy isn't the demon lord he is a vampire in charge of a territory in the demon realm.
