And season 3, 4 and 5. <_< But you shouldn't be disappointed - TGWOK is pretty damn good. Speaking of which: + Show Spoiler [TGWOK 124] + Edit: Rumor says Kalafina's doing the ED for Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. Sweet. So even if the show sucks, there'll still be something to enjoy...

Hisako always appeared as an interesting character that never really got a lot of screen time. I didn't think much of Irie and Sekine in the anime adaptation, though the small chapter dedicated to GirlDeMo in Track Zero pretty much made them one of my favourites too. Also, Yusa. GDM get so little screen time in character development that I feel it's hard to really like them. You only get a brief glimpse into the shit that went down in Iwasawa's life so I didn't really consider her after all the episodes were over.

As to content, I think funny>action>drama>seriousness for me but on this I really cannot judge o.o Hmm what other categories are there? Also, do you guys ever get embarrassed about what you watch? I was watching Hayate and the fan service shots + cross dressing rather made me ff a bit because I got two rommates (it's a tiny room) who don't watch anime.

You should watch School Rumble and Clannad. Those are two funny shows that take place mainly in high schools. I have a feeling that the first bit will be boring though, since I've watched through the Kanon arc and know what happens for those first three.

If you like school setting you should watch School Days.

It fulfills the funny, action, drama, and serious categories, so there's no reason why you shouldn't watch it. By the way, watching some of the more fanservicey anime in the same room as non-anime watchers is a big no-no. I'm going through Strike Witches right now. Can you imagine how awkward that would be? + Show Spoiler + I watch it for the plot. Hey, it's half true. On December 09 2010 05:19 Ecael wrote: What's wrong with the Nanoha fanbase? Nothing wrong in watching Strike Witches for the plot. It's an ok plot, the action can be pretty cool and all the characters (except maybe Perrine for some people) are likeable. It's just one of those series you can enjoy, if you manage to get past silly things like the crotch shots. Also, I still don't get what's wrong with the Nanoha fanbase. Nothing creepy about NanoFate shippers, if that's what you mean.

Nothing creepy about NanoFate shippers, if that's what you mean. Wait, Strike Witches had a plot? Sure, maybe a few episodes did (like the first few and last few of each season), but the vast majority of them were either "slice of life" shows, or episodes where they are stealing each others underwear (and other such retardedness). The first season was average at best, the second season was a poorly executed, complete rehash. IMO the only 2 reasons why someone would want to watch Strike Witches would be A) good dogfights/action, or B) lolis who don't wear pants, and thus every scene in the entire anime is a panty shot.
