But for a one cour run, I enjoyed it. Now I'm going to go read the manga. So I guess it's done the job it's supposed to, right?

It's not the manga, and if for some reason they were going to make another season, they've painted themselves into a corner with how they could move forward and try to get back to the manga storyline (or if they'd even try). They can't just have + Show Spoiler + truck-kun be merciful truck-kun comes in again for his 2nd job I really don't see a second season. Like you say, unless suddenly + Show Spoiler + truck-kun comes along while they're leaving that movie I did see a review on MAL that tore into them for "insulting musicians" by making it seem like anyone could pick up instruments and play, or just sing. That made absolutely zero sense to me - the only people without a musical background are Yuu-kun and Fuuka. They spent some time showing Yuu-kun working his but off (and, to be honest, the bass lines in their songs are not all that taxing) and sometimes... yes, a singer can just sing like that. Everyone else had a strong musical background - the drummer played the drums in a band before, the guitarist was raised by a professional guitarist and taught to play, and the keyboardist was a former classical piano competition pianist. There are things to complain about in Fuuka + Show Spoiler + Truck-kun missing, for example, to give the "happy" ending + Show Spoiler + During the ending scenes, I almost did expect a sudden Seo with Truck-kun as the final scene. Just as a "haha, got ya"

Yeah, I don't recall what i exactly wrote, but it was probably something like that

We got more hints of it in the last couple of episodes, and it's very intriguing. While I thought previous episodes had charm, I can understand why people thought the show was getting too dull or episodic. Some of my favorite episodes were when Studio Trigger was free to go full, all-out Trigger with craziness, like in the broom racing episode or Sucy's dream.

I rarely see people that know about it too, might have to check it out someday to see what caught my attention when I was younger. Speaking of Sci-Fi, I've started watching Shinsekai Yori recently (at ep. 7) and if it keeps up the quality it might end up being one of my all time favorites. The world of SSY has the perfect balance of Fantasy and Sci-Fi, I haven't been immersed by the worldbuilding of a show this much in a long time. I'm looking forward see where the story is going. Shinsekai Yori is pretty damn good. If you are at ep7 it is only getting better from now on.

If you mean actual "things", lul: slime, sword, dragon I think hot spring is being made into an animu. But hot spring and vending machine are LN only afaik. Dragon has manga adaptation, not many chapters out but it's passable.

Man i forgot this weeks episode was the finale. Talk about Utsuro being amazing villain. That ending scene where shinpachi narrated the bit from way way back. ;_; Im gonna miss the show.

I knew that it was announced as an anime (which tricked me into thinking it would be an anime, and not some CGI abomination), but I just saw the character designs that came out, done as bland shitty looking CGI, and my hype took a hit. I just looked up the announcement: They didn't actually state it would be full cgi but they stated it would be done by Polygon Pictures so I saved it in my mind as "ugly cgi project"... Polygon Pictures don't do anything but horrible cgi animation irrc.

I imagine after Satou-sensei's bikini, Takahasi-sensei was in fact "Iron Man" Oh, rumor has it that Demi-chans will be back in October 2017. Also wonderful, rumor also has that Dragon-Maid will be getting another season as well.
