Just because you're family doesn't mean you can do whatever you want and get away with it. If the members all agreed that Jessica wasn't giving 100% to the group like the rest of them were, then it doesn't seem crazy that they would make her choose between them and her other life. So I don't think SM is as much at fault here as others believe.
Or they were just begrudgingly "supporting" her, she was either clueless or didn't care that they weren't fond of it, then eventually it came to a head with the overseas travel etc.
Can just as easily be the exact opposite of what she states now.
Not going to get any more information out of this story, most likely.

Well if she was slacking off then she has no excuse and should be kicked out, but if she was putting in the work into the SNSD stuff and still got kicked out because she started her own business which she manages in her own time then I would be pissed if I was her.
Regarding Jessica's business: Rumor says $40M is already invested on the said business. Considering Tyler Kwon's roles is raising invested capital, it's likely he raised money with Jessica's name. Therefore, if business goes wrong, Tyler Kwon could be gone and Jessica has to burden that $40M. If Kwon is really a CEO of a company, he should be very busy. But he follows Jessica everywhere, and there's a chance his CEO position is all but castle in the air. It could be a problem if only thing Kwon does is running the business while all the money came from Jessica's name. http://twishort.com/Fg6gc

There's no way that she was kicked just because they were jealous of her successful business. That's would be too ridiculous. It sounds like the business might have been fine in the beginning when it didn't interfere with the group, but it eventually became a problem.
It's possible that Jessica honestly thinks she was fulfilling all SNSD obligations, but all/some of the group members didn't agree with her. Furthermore, one would expect her business and other endeavors to expand in the (near) future, so even if her commitment isn't a big issue at the moment, it would only get worse with time, making it more logical to fix the problem now.
I have a problem even believing her statement though when it includes obvious lies like "I never thought about quitting."

I mean they're right on all the technicalities, but do you really expect Jessica to be THAT dumb? Plus, 40 million sounds like a far stretch to me, maybe something like 10-15 million investment sounds a lot more realistic. A lot of speculations going on in that post and i'm not ready to believe most of it until something more concrete comes out. Just hope Jessica knows what shes dabbling in.
lmao all these conjectures about jessica not pulling her weight reminds me of all the times she's showed up at event/promotions or whatever and just dozed off or spaced out which video was it where she's just completely gone and doing the wrong dance moves?
Kim Kwang-soo will be leaving Core Content Media after founding it in 2006. Joonang reports in an exclusive, that all artists will move to subsidiary company, MBK Entertainment. Core Contents Media is the main entertainment label of CJ E&M. The company houses artists such as T-ARA, Five Dolls, Gangiz, The SeeYa, and SPEED. Formed as a subsidiary, MBK Entertainment will now takeover reigns as the entertainment arm of CJ E&M. Internally, the company is on their last steps of transferring all artists, actors, and personal over to the new company.
I do hope that KKS does remain with T-ARA as a person to help them with the music choice, as he's done an excellent job of that over the years. Also suprised they even mentioned Gangkiz as i think everybody figured that by now they had disbanded ages ago.
Would be an interesting twist if he was indeed a huge fraud and leaves her if the business fails, leaving her with nothing.
But now that she's already out of snsd i hope the dude is legit and they are happy together and succeed. I'm just glad her "alternative" career is not singer or actress. Imagine if taeyeon pulled this stunt and wants to go for a solo singing career, sm would blacklist jyj style all over.
Honestly I don't have a hard time believing everything Jessica wrote... I think some of the members probably got jealous and had a change of heart about her other activities. Claiming that Jessica isn't focusing 100% of her efforts to the group is of course going to be correct but is any member committing 100%? Lots of them do dramas, radio, CF's, whatever.
I have no doubt in my mind that if SM wanted her out but the other 8 wanted her to stay then SM would have had to buckle. They absolutely do not want to risk a massive revolt with their cash cow.
RiP in pieces KKS. You had a good run and got a lot of shit but you always produced great results.

Because they backed down with jyj...
As much money as sm would have lost snsd would have lost more if they "revolted". For one they just signed a contract so it's working with sm or not at all. Secondly, sm can point out that they still have fx Exo and red velvet, and while losing snsd would hurt it would hurt the members far more.
The reason why Jessica's statement isn't completely believable to me is because he literally said all the things anyone would say of they were going to try and portray themselves as completely blameless in the whole thing. I'm not saying her statement wasn't at least partially true but there's no way she wasn't partially guilty/she was blindsided by this.
