But, at providence, a moth or two later, when he played vs Leenock after being seeded high up, he got steamrolled. If he's playing with a good ingoing mindset, he tends to win a lot Well, doesnt this also bear out in his statistics? Wins first game, has a huge win %, loses first game and has huge lose%. Actually I am shocked that more people dont cheese him their first game in a BO anything series. Such a huge incentive.
Have people compared those stats to other progamers? I mean its only logical that if you win first game your a ton more likely to win the set (esp. when u consider that vs much weaker players ur always winning 1st game)

Such a huge incentive. im willing to bet 90% of players have it skewed like that becuase when you win the first map, youll probably lose the 2nd map but on the 3rd map you can pick the absolute perfect map and win

I'm actually not telling Idra how to play zerg either, I'm pointing out to anyone who might not know it yet that by not building an extra spine he does risk certain all-ins just flat out killing him. Idra knows it himself I'm sure, but he decided to take the more economic route that game, which ended up being a mistake. That's Starcraft 2 for you. that's not entirely true though. A spine is 150 minerals and a drone which can set you far back economically if you just build one blindly (and build it too early) It's not Idra's fault that he doesn't build spine, every zerg would get one whenever they scouted/educated guess that something early rush or cheesy is coming, not just build one blindly. 2 spines are already costing more than a hatchery, it will delay your macro hatch/3rd queen etc and the impact will just snowballed to mid and late game. its 100 minerals +drone, so 150 minerals and 2 spines cost 50 minerals less then a hatchery factering in replacing the drone oh god, you are so right, I have been playing toss for too long already.

Didn't know he still has his girlfriend. Heard/Thought they broke up....
Nice to see!

she got jealous after finding out greg's relationship with Huk

Haha gotta say, the MLG winter arena photos of him and his girlfriend actually gave me some more respect for him. Remember when she suddenly showed up one MLG and people were pretty much saying shes an esports whore who was just using him and that it was just idra starting drama again? Seems like after MLG, they went back into hiding mode so most people assume they just broke up, well it's been a good couple months now and despite being out of the media and idra not providing the best results as of lately, they are still together. Props to idra for that, I can respect a guy keeping his girlfriend on the down low due to all the haters out there being obnoxious. Good luck on your future tournies.

Maybe because they used to be not that friendly with each other and Idra thought Huk wasn't a good player and then Huk started getting better and then a rivalry started, fueled a lot by the fact that Huk was a Protoss, that Huk was cocky and by hallucinated Void Rays and by the fact that then Huk joined EG and that Idra and Huk were/are actually good friends out of the game and now they're actually team mates.
Maybe..
