The owner of iNcontroL's fan club hasn't posted since 2013. If you would like to take over as the new owner, then PM me. We need this fan club updated so that we can properly pay tribute to Geoff and all that he has accomplished. -Seeker |

Great showing today. Really contributed to EG's win in a big way.

great job taking out apocalypse and argh (i think thats who it was :p)
i didnt manage to catch the games, were they good? did geoff smash them

Against apocalypse he saw 2 medivacs flying to his main for a drop and sniped both of them, which gave Incontrol a huge army advantage and then he just rolled over Apocalypse, especially since Apocalypse took a fast third.
Against agh it was a long one base game for both agh and Incontrol. Agh opened with a robo and stargate for phoenix's but wasn't able to do any damage with the phoenix, while Incontrol did some blink stalker harassment, and won the 'big battle' at the end so he won the game.
Nice interview on Starcast btw. Here's the vod if anyone's interested and missed it.

I would like to say, first of all, what a big fan I am of incontrol. His commitement to starcraft and devotion to esports is inspiring. I dont think anyone can despute his contribution to improve the community. As a student of Geoff (a new student) i would like to take the time and say what a worthwile experience. Although I have no previous experience with other teachers and can only comment on what i have seen on live streams, I would say Geoff is the most beneficial mentor i have seen. Pricey? Maybe. Worth it? You bet. Give him a shot, you wont regret it

Who the hell is this Halo noob trying to bash you on twitter?

Halo community is just retarded. They are a bunch of spoilt kids who are hell jealous of the dominance of Starcraft 2.
Just ignore it them (Halo is the reason I got into MLG, but the community and the newest Halo game have gone way downhill).

Incontrol dominated those kids on Twitter man. Not a single decent gamer has played Halo "professionally" since Halo 1 (not counting the Halo bonjwa Ogre 2 and his bro + Walshy) so most of those kids don't matter.
I used to be a huge Halo player but these days most of those guys are just pathetic.

No, the guy that played Incontrol was someone else. He was Masters, rank 7 if I heard correctly. Incontrol played Terran for atleast 2 or 3 games and the other guy offraced once also.

Game1 Incontrol P v Z Ryanoob (Incontrol wins)
Game 2 Incontrol T v Z Ryanoob (Incontrol wins)
Game 3 Incontrol T v P Ryanoob (Ryanoob wins)
Game 4 Incontrol Z v Z Ryanoob (Ryanoob wins)
Game 5 Incontrol P v Z Ryanoob (Incontrol wins)
Game 5.5 Mulligan Incontrol P v Z Ryanoob (Incontrol wins)
also the guy that was trash talking was "Legit". Also his actions (no matter how dumbass they are) shouldn't reflect the whole halo community, but unfortunately it does. Ryanoob is/was very well mannered and held up his end of the deal.

legit is a cocky jackass maybe, but i find it hilarious that people white knight geoff when geoff is a cocky jackass too. the only difference is geoff has the charisma to come off as funny when he's being a cocky jackass. the reason this is getting blown out of proportion is precisely because two astronomically huge egos are clashing.
incontrol can do what he wants. i'm sure he has fun crushing someone's ego and as someone who gets an ego about things sometimes i can relate. i just think acting like you're taking it personally when you're actually not and riling up the immature 2 cent friend (i.e. "bro my boy incontrol IS GONNA FUCK U UP SON! u aint shit dawg u aint shit, fuck halo, fuck console gaming, etc.) mentality that all gaming communities have when pitted against each other is really pathetic and unbecoming. i doubt he meant to, but he did.

considering the fact that you call other people kids, i can believe you were once a part of the MLG community, even if you sound like you have no fucking clue what you're talking about. you just sound like a hipster, though. Halo 1 was the hardest game and the most skillful but Halo 2 and 3 (even though i think 3 is fucking awful and was the tipping point for officially making the game competitively stunted in growth) brought the eyes that took it from being competitive gaming to an esport. it made it worth playing seriously beyond a hobby economically. you should respect those games' contributions. if they hadn't done that, honestly we probably wouldn't have SC2 MLG events right now because MLG would've died a long time ago.
there hasn't been a player before or since like Ogre 2 but they all play the shit out of their game. you used to be a huge player of the game until you quit because (insert reason), whereas they got to be some of the best at their game and enough people want to see them so now they are playing it professionally. i highly doubt that your judgement of them being pathetic holds much weight, nor would it if you tried to say that to anyone else who loves doing what they do. if anything, you look pathetic by turning your back on the community and then talking shit about them like you weren't a part of that once. like i said, the way you phrased your opinion made it obvious that the culture is still in you even if you ignore them. you talk exactly like MLG "kids." keep that in mind while you scoff at them. i've moved on from them, too, but i don't act like i'm better than them because now i do PC Master Race gaming.

As a former Halo player this is spot on and deserves a slow clap. I'd +rep you if I could /slow clap

There's a simple rule when trash talking though. It's called back your shit up. The Halo player had no leg whatsoever. His assertion was ludicrous. Notice thatt incontrol did not respond with 'I could beat you in Halo'.
incontrol may be pretty scathing when he's in disagreement with someone, but he doesn't make ridiculous comments.

If I'm not mistaken, the guy who played Incontrol was not the guy talking crap to him on twitter. He just took the bet because the other guy wouldn't.
