I mean what's the harm? You lose so what.

How stupid of Alliance to believe that you would ever mature and take responsibility. Do you understand what you've done? This is equivalent to someone being told to do something at their job, then them doing it half-assed because they didn't want to do it. Especially after you qualified, and had seemingly committed to the tournament already because of your previous results. Do you understand that if I did that at my real job, I would be fired in a heartbeat? Do you understand that most teams were willing to overlook how immature and stupid you are because of your skill? You have always been a plague to esports and SC2, and I'm glad you're leaving (hopefully for good). I honestly have no grudges against any other player in esports EXCEPT you, and it's because when people go to tell me how video games turns people into bad people, they point you. I hope you understand Naniwa that what you were representing was more than you, or your team. You were an icon for something that other people wish they were, and you cast it away like it's garbage, or wasn't important. You call the situation silly, but the only silliness I see in it is how you've acted this whole time, and how you seem to think you're in the right here. You're not, and I hope you stay the fuck away from anything esports related until you've removed your head from your ass. User was warned for this post

That being said; on topic.. I hope that Naniwa someday will get the hunger back and return to the game. But if he's not he still have contributed with lots of entertaining games (most memorable are PvZ IMO, I remember that ace-match vs DRG in code S he almost won, but didn't see the 9'o'clock base, his finals vs Leenock in MLG and his proxy about Hyun more recently - I guess the match vs Scarlett was hyped, but it was a total stomp, so even though amusing to watch not as intense/entertaining) I understand that Naniwa is sick of the community and I wish him all the best, whatever his future desicion will be. I highly doubt Nani will stop compete though, he'll find something and that's part of why I've been a fan for so long, there's a brutal honesty in just being in the game for one reason - to win, to be the best. Ironically this made him more involved in drama than most (all other?) players. Again - gl hf Naniwa, you'll be missed and always be welcome to come back. The throne is vacant
