I mean, if you really love MaNa, wouldn't you think he deserves a decent fanclub? You need to find a bunch of MaNa related stuff, interviews, replays, VODS etc etc and draft the OP before you post it.
Just look around at some of the fanclub threads here and see how the OP's of those threads did it, then make yours similiar to how everyone else's looks.
Wow, thank You for creating this thread, but as some people already said, you did not mention some of the achievments in the first post. I'm a fan. Had the privilege of playing him in a TL Open and subsequently getting smashed by him. His performance in Assembly Summer is also really awesome!
MaNa playing so absolutely amazing. He's been at the top of his game for entire tournament. As much as I am a zerg player and fan of dimaga, I think that MaNa deserves to win Assembly.
I've been following Mana from his DH final agains Naama. He's always been an impressive Terran slayer but now he's soo fucking scary in every mu. I'm a fan.
Mana had such an amazing tournament and was one win away from taking it all :/ Still, he is improving greatly. Hope to see Mana and Stephano at more LAN events in the future.
Mana seems like a great guy and is a great player! Congrats on second! I was sad that Dimaga was losing, and then I was sad that Mana lost. Oh well... many years ahead! Keep going Mana!
Does MaNa have the best storms in the world? I can't really think of anyone better. Watching his play at assembly and remembering his games in Dreamhack, it feels like he always puts storms in the exact right place.
MaNa has been on such a tear lately I'm really hoping he can pull off a big win and show the rest of the world how awesome he is and give him the credit he's due.
MaNa you are teh man! I remeber i saw a replay few months ago when u've lost to HuK on Delta Q, you improved so much in such a short time! U got ur revange on him on Assembly keep on kicking big asses!
too bad Mana isn't streaming ;_; He looks much better than Naniwa did in the EU bnet invitational. I'm so sad that Mana wasn't invited, he'd probably have won T_T

I dont think it was doable since MaNa was playing on Assembly Summer day before EU BI took place. I might be wrong though.

I seriously dont understand why this fanclub aient bigger.. on another note what a sick player he has no weak match up and keep destroying the koreans! (nada and huk at assembly, and now puma) he also keep owning up the europeans like no tomorrow!
Sign me up, such great play with his own unique style (unimaginably patient, as I remembered from the first SC2 Dreamhack Winter), as well as meticulous and great in general. Just work on not getting supply blocked!
Hurray for MaNa! Wonderful play today (yesterday for those in EU ), excellent storms! It's so great to see them used like in Brood War! Now all we need are storm drops to make us cry happy tears (sad if you're on the receiving end).
I am sorry to tell you, MaNa, but you have to win a tournament to have this rather slowly going thread explode. (^_^) I´ll be cheering for you, especially against this cheesy Korean. What´s his name? oGsMC? Didn`t he switch to EG lately?
Mana with his defensive patient style is really impressing me. He's also really good at positioning his army perfectly before a fight and he's got perfect force fields. If he keeps this up he will soon win a big tournament.
i think mana has a high chance to win with MC, probably mc doesnt know hes opponent well and mana can review sooo many replays of mc's gameplay great mu coming!
Can't believe this thread hasn't taken off yet, Mana just had the month of his life. Not quite enough tourney wins, but in terms of consistent high placing, no one in europe can match him! IEM, IPL, Assembly, Qualified for another IEM, and placed high in another Gigabyte for good measure. What a beast mode month. Here's to another.
Updated the main entry with a bunch of stuff. There are some tournaments I couldn't find the brackets for that MaNa said he entered and placed, so if anyone knows where those are - please let me know.
Also I have Dreamhack Winter 2010 VODs up to the Semifinals, anyone know where I can get the Finals?

Any other VODs and Replays you may have, link :D
They are all on Day9's youtube page, I would link you, but my computer is not responding well to youtube, so I can't find it. You HAVE to get them on there, I think Game 3 is possibly Mana's finest PvT, certainly his greatest comeback. Thanks so much for supporting this thread by the way, it's always good to have a well kept fanclub.
MaNa will not attand in IEM GC in China becouse he want to play in Polish WCG finals and Samsung European Championship which starts day after Polish WCG finals.

To be fair, 1st game was really close and MC had a lot of luck to blink and snipe last pylon (that probe...), MaNa had the stronger army. In the games after, MaNa looked a bit confused id say
Just saw the most awesome game vs. Stephano in the MSI Pro Cup #2. MaNa made an amazing comeback against a maxed zerg wrecking ball with broodlords and ultras. Super PvZ! GG!

I concur! 2nd game on shakuras is just as good :D:D:D
I love Mana so much. He´s only 17 (as old as i:D) and is such a Beast. I would like to see him in Korea and get much stronger then now, but he got so strong in the last time. MaNa for President!!
Jesus christ Mana, you have to lose eventually... Soon? AT SOME POINT?!?! Apparently not, what a beast. The only Protoss who makes Terran look wimpy and weak.
Mana just hurts me as a zerg every times i see him blink under a dozen of broodlords a,d snipe them one by one, he's the guy who makes me think PvZ is imbalanced (with Hasu i admit). <3 him
Yeah sometimes you don't know how the hipe grows. 1 month ago stephano was a good young and talented european zerg, now he's "the best foreigner player by far". And Mana just did incredibly well in both LAN he attended, is on a 4-0 win streak vs Stephano and all the hipe goes on stephano.

I think one of the reason Stephano's got more hype even if i think Mana is better right now is because his playstyle is more entertaining to most people. Mana plays more defensively. I don't say he does that every game but overall the game Mana is in are less intense. Anyway, those two players are really really good...
Thanks for linking the interview. It's a shame that he didn't make it out of the groups. I think he would have done well if he could have taken down TT1 in 1 more of those games.
It sucks to hear he is going to university afterwards too. Come on Mana! Pull a Stephano and take (at the least) a short break to see how well you can do! You are already beastly! I'd imagine going to university one year later wouldn't be a big problem at all, but then again I understand things may be more complicated than that.
Oh well... best of luck at your next tournament. I'd be great to see you playing at MLGs if they make it more appealing to Europeans.
Hey MaNa, on your stream, make your scrolling image scroll more slowly or make it stationary with your facebook/twitter. It currently changes every second or two, and it's extremely distracting to the eyes.
Even if you loose, you are such a good player! On your stream you look like a nice guy,and give good advice! Definitively, sign me up! One day you will win a big tournament

the same reason you've been watching him. What is there really to do at 1am on the 25th of december?
You are wrong my friend. I logged on 2 times on TL at random hours and he was there. Now its 1 am and his still streaming, so i started to think maybe its a story behind it and at CEST probably most people are trying to tire themselfs enough to go to sleep lol
MaNa, Grubby, ToD, BlinG, White-ra, HasuObs, Socke, SaSe, NaNiWa, TITAN, elfitaja... (pretty sure I forgot some) - jesus, the EU toss scene is exploding :O
I am kinda worried about state of Manas vZ recently. I feel he is falling back again. To sum it up, last games vZ i saw:
vsNerchio-IPL fightClub LOSE vsRet -Millenium cup WIN (only one) vsStephano 0Millenium cup LOSE vsTLO -Eizo cup-LOSE vsDestiny-IPLTAC2-LOSE
Whats bugging me its the style, some of this games werent even close, Mana was just overhelmed with roaches and lings....i feel the oponents are used to his style and are exploiting it.
He is currently playing custom games against Stephano (who is streaming), 8 - 3 for Stephano atm. At least he is taking the problem seriously and training with the best

It's a great decision imo. He has the chance to have a really fun job where he can travel around the world, and if he doesn't feel it is worth it, then he can simply continue on with school afterwards. Good luck MaNa!

I was indifferent towards MaNa before now, but holy crap, 2-0ing hero and Stephano after they both had such amazing runs, that's ridiculous, Sign me up for this fan-club! MaNa Hwaiting!
HerO and Ret losing kinda ruined my mood. But Mana turned it right around. Now take this tournament and start your fulltime starcrafting with a huuuuuuge bang!
Well done Mana! You might be the second Protoss to win a Premier Tournament this year (the first being MC at IEM WC and HSC4)!
The first game that really got me into Starcraft 2 was your 3rd game against Naama in the finals of the first Dreamhack Winter. It was amazing, and now is your time to take that championship you have waited 1 and a half years for.
Mana you are playing so well ive been tweeting you from KK_cesc since group stages!!
Go all the way you have a fan club full of people who believe in you that game 3 vs hero was the greatest pvp ive ever watched - how did you kill 3 colossus with just stalkers?!
He's done with his studies now and can do SC2 full time right? I figure that's what was holding him back. He's always been a really solid player and was feared for his PvT, but him taking down Stephano and Dimaga in what I consider to be his worst matchup (PvZ), well it's very impressive.
Oh my god YES!!!!! This is awesome news to come home to! I was so nervous watching you get through groups as it was close, and then when I saw you were against cyto I was worried because I thought your PvZ was weak... apparently not? And then you gave HerO his first game and match loss of the tournament. Then of all people, you beat Stephano 2-0! Holy hell. And of course then Dimaga after you lost to him at Assembly. Oh man I am so fucking happy for you! Congrats Mana! :D
I really hope that Mana goes to Korea soon because if he will stay here at Europe he will becom just another king of european chobos (since player which does not practice at Korea isnt able to win biggest events like MLG) while he really deserve to play at top world level like Mvp/MKP/DRG
SO happy SOOOOO happy, I remember the first time I saw you playing versus naama in that crazy (dreamhack or assembly) finals, STORRRMSSS !!!!! I was instantly a fan, so happy with your European performances you are so fun to watch and an inspiration. I went to the mountains to power wash and repaint a house this weekend, but when I got home and just saw this I lit up!!!! MANA FIGHTINGGG!!!!
So long overdue, MaNa. You were always awesome when I watched mouz in the team leagues and it's an absolute pleasure to see you finally win a big event. Well done!
Gratz gratz gratz! One of the most deserving player to really take such a win! Always playing his own style, being nice and humble and being a top player for so long without really making this huge breakthrough. Mana, im glad you finally broke your "streak" of silvers - i couldnt be happier with anyone winning it!
Sad we didn't get to see much of your renounced PvT this weekend, but you really showcased some serious skill in the other matchups. I'd wish the game vs hero, was the finals, that was sooooo sick.,.. i was so freaking tense and thought you were out at the minute he had 2 colossus, he then got 3 and you beat it, with no mistakes on his part. Best blink micro evah! after that my stomach muscles hurt.
When Stephano was on the rising as a Europan star, i saw you and Thorzain as his counterpart, but from another race. The three of you are so talented and will just continue to dominate the scene.
Great games and hope too see many great ones in the future and gl in korea!
I actually saw the final on swedish television and it was friggin epic! That was something really special i can tell you. Watching Starcraft 2 on national tv. It was a magic moment wich i didn't think it would be in the first place.
Was in my bed watching it late at night while eating icecream and fruit sallad ^^.
And i wasn't even sad that there wasn't any swedish player in the final. MaNa and DIMAGA was really deserving of playing in the final and the best player at that moment won.
Yesterday i said i wasn't a fan and that was the truth, i wasn't a fan. But after watching that final i am a fan of you MaNa. Not because you won Dreamhack Summer but because of your interviews. I saw both the interview with you that iNcontroL did but more importantly the interview with you that a woman did for SVT and that could be seen on Swedish national television.
Your personality is what made me a fan and your amazing play is just a bonus. Hope you have a successfull career!
Wow... Artosis just said (on SOTG) that the reason he switched to Protoss was because he saw some of Mana's PvT builds where he didn't just do timings. Pretty cool imo. :D
I say it now, but I think MaNa is the next " Stephano". By that I mean the guy that will break out without having a huge korean experience or tight practice. MaNa stayed at school longer than other, but now that he is fulltime, I feel he will do great great things.
MaNa has allways been one of the best protosses in Europe, only thing is he wasn't signed up for alot of events and his PvZ used to be crap! Glad to see he's fulltime and it's paying off!
So I was watching Dreamhack and when MaNa came up I figured that ah, this is that mediocre protoss that's gonna get eliminated by the first zerg he hits. But his play turned out to be amazing to watch, and he was personally responsible for burying 5+ great zerg players. I'm now a fan, best of luck MaNa and may the breaks on your rape train never be engaged!
Thanks for spotlighting the interview. It was really good as it contained some interesting stuff and because it was something different from your ordinary interview. I expected the other pros' short statements to be courteous and similar to each other but they weren't.
Some of the pros' impressions about Mana are very funny + Show Spoiler +
Bly MaNa is a very talented player, bla-bla-bla :D. Those forcefields with 2-3-4 immo push vs zerg, are deadly... brrrrrrrrr!
Socke MaNa always beats me in important events, so I hope he goes inactive or breaks his arms soon. Had MaNa not existed, I would have won like double prizemoney so far, so I'm absolutely serious here.
Looks like Mana is on his way to Korea, what i find interesting is that aparently draco is traveling with him and funkay. More troll? Or is draco returning once more? I imagine if this is true he is paying for his own trip (no way mouz or mana would pay for his trip just to help them in Korea).
Great interview! Good luck in the Up and Downs! Just relax and play your game. No one will be disappointed if it doesn't go well... it's a very difficult transition and everyone is aware of it, so try not to be nervous. :D
Congrats on the two wins, even if you don't make it to code S (i sure hope you do) this is an awesome debut in code S, I really can't wait to see you develop as a player over in Korea .
On August 27 2012 20:47 NeWeNiyaLord wrote: Is Draco Mana's brother?
No he is his good friend, Funkay is his brother. The three of them live now toghter at the gom house (along ith Khaldor and Naniwa if i am not mistaken).
went to classes with mana 2-0 so glad to see he got in. Depending on the invites this could be the most foreigners in code S ever (As I don't believe Huk/Jinro/Idra were in at the same time)
great job MaNa!!! Can't believe 2 weeks ago you were laddering a couple games per day on the EU ladder and now you are in code S!! :D congrats man, you deserve it.
It's ok man, you only have to practice PvT ^^. Actually I think that MVP TvP is not that scary in a standard game (I would blame it on his wrist), of course he is an extremely experienced player but far from unbeatable. I don't really know about MMA current TvP shape, but I've always seen him more like a TvZ specialist, and with the problem in Slayer he might not be in his best shape. Taeja is a scary beast though, I think he is a serious contender for the championship.
So yeah group E is a difficult group, but that's what you should expect from GSL, I don't think it's that much of a group of death.
MaNa under some terran curse recently it seems. Up & Down? 3 Terrans 1 Zerg. Code S? 3 Terrans. Code A? Terran. Guess Who he's playing in the first round of WCS Europe Finals... Yup. DeMusliM. Terran.
Nice play there by MaNa in one of the more difficult parts of the bracket. I don't know if he'll be able take down SortOf though since PvZ is his weakest matchup...
EDIT: God damn it! Sometimes, I just hate being right :/ Good show anyway from MaNa, he did have rather difficult opponents. Hopefully he'll have more time to train in Korea and will be able to stay in Code A.
Quite sad that Mana is eliminated from Code A =( I've really become a fan of Mana after his stay in Korea, doing really well in the Ups & Downs and despite the end result I must say that he did really well. I didn't have high expectations of him early on but it certainly grew over time as I became a fan of his playstyle, how he explains his strategies and mental state (not something we see from a lot of players).
To Mana: Hope to see you in the GSL again in the future, you're definitely one of the best European Protosses (if not the best), best of luck on your way to the top! Till then, hope to see you in some of the foreign tournaments that I might tune in to =)
P.S. Hope you'll stream a bit and I'll definitely look out for your stream!
Yeah sad to see MaNa eliminated but he certainly gave it a good shot. I think his stay in Korea will only make him stronger player. Encouraging for MaNa - Looking forward to future tournamnents !! xD
Poor Mana, losing to Kas like that in the GD Invitational. I guess he's tired - all the travel from Korea to Poland and the from Poland to Stockholm plus the jetlag can do that to you.
Great result, but games against Bly were painful to watch :<. Maybe Mouz Sports could hire a coatch to help MaNa with his PvZ, all three games he was far behind before even the first engagement happened...
Well now, that was unexpected! Since these two know each other very well, Stephano usually roflstomps MaNa. Oddly enough, when they meet in a semifinal of a large LAN, MaNa wins (Dreamhack Summer and now ESWC). Congrats to Grzegorz. Now take out ForGG. You can do it, you have faced tougher opponents in Korea!
Oh my god again? Another tournament that I didn't get to watch and you take out Stephano before winning the whole thing? Jesus christ... congrats!! :D I'm always so happy to hear when you win tournaments!!
Nice to see mana win this , was rooting for fOrGG tho but really happy to see mana at 1st place . Stephano still awesomely regular too! Nice event , too bad for the stream...
Nerchio has MaNa's number it seems. What has been said at the end of the third game is true though - PvZ is in a silly place right now. Hopefully that will change in HotS. All in all, a great Dreamhack season for MaNa. A win in DH Summer, semifinals in Bucharest and now Ro8 in DH Winter. Well played. Hopefully he can keep this up throughout next year.
And while you are here, if you are a handy little nerd (or you can be tall aswell) this fanclub needs some love and the owner hasnt been active since 2011. Should you be interested in taking over you can send Mana a PM on this website.
Mana as always goes past to playoffs gl on friday! Its beyond me how ppl still argue who best foreigner toss is by results alone its not even close tbh...
Anyone else see that horrible 80 minute long PvZ on his stream last night? Apart from that game, I really enjoyed watching his stream, I really like his play and im a fan but I had to sit in a cold shower for 2 hours after watching that game. (Z spammed swarm hosts/viper and there was an utter stale mate for 40 minutes).
Surpised I am the first to post about Mana´s ATC result. Mana manages to go under the radar despite being successful pretty much all the time, kinda weird ^.^
Anyway being 9-2 against a Korean pro only lineup in ATC is quiet an achievement The fact that it is players from all 3 races just makes it even more impressive. Seems like it is the foreign protoss players that are stepping up towards the Koreans so far in HotS.
you forgot. making it much much more impressive. Beeing like miles behind in PVP vs Crank and pulling still off to win. He is one of the foreigner to watch out for.
MaNa looks so much better in HOTS compare to WOL, and if you consider he was top 5 foreigner in WOL anyway (even with his abysall pvz) so i wouldnt be suprised that we soon have new nr1 foreigner(yes i said he can be better than Stephano!).

I think HotS protoss style suits him much better than WoL. MaNa prefers to play a long game with a clash of ultimate armies at the end. In HotS it was Zerg that had the ultimate army, and MaNa was forced to play more timinig-oriented play. Now, with tempests and new void rays, he can play his style of developing and ultimate army against all three races.
Gratz to MaNa for qualifying to IEM Season VIII Cologne! Very impressive, considering that he managed to defeat GoOdy, Patience, SortOf, TLO, Kane, Nerchio and Tefel. Hope after this he will receive good offers from well-establshed teams to wear their colours at this event.

WCS s3 was a great display of skill by MaNa, hope he is gonna keep it up, I am so happy that Polish player was able to participate in finals . Thank you MaNa! gl
well that run was super sudden, and incredibly impressive. coming from nowhere to get second is pretty rare, but coming from nowhere to get 2nd and having to plow through several of the best players in the tournament. the best part was still taking 2 games off serral, which basically showed it wasn't a fluke for him to get through the other players.
i watch his stream some times. generally think he looks pretty good. but how did I not notice *this* ?
I think the best games of the tournament was Special vs. Mana game 2 and 3.
But game 2 was really special, I liked the build a lot. Game 2 when he recalls the phoenixes was the play of the tournament in my opinion. great game sense.
