Polt's Ro16 WCG Group is: Gumiho, TheBest and Supernova. Somewhat tough group, but Polt probably should top it or at least get second.

Yea, only worry is that it's all Terrans, Polt is better than all of them but bio is so, eh these days >.>
In saying that, I expect him to win the group anyway ^ ^

Though Gumiho, TheBest and Supernova are also underrated terrans, Polt is less underrated than all of them, and thus should win =P
(it's actually potentially a tough group! But Polt can definitely do it!)
Also, what was Polt's final run in MLG? Wasn't he like 12-0 on day 2?

As long as I counted right, he went 23-4 altogether in MLG and after his lost to Goswer, he went 18-0 till he hit Puma.
And I can't confirm it yet, but I heard that that is the longest run that's ever occurred in MLG history... Can anyone confirm that?

his run was definitely impressive... i was WTF POLT... when i saw the results lol

I don't think so because Naniwa was something like 34-0 when he won his mlg (don't remember which one it was), not sure though

That's what I thought, but then I remembered hearing something like nani going 22-2 or something. I'll check now and try to find his run
Yea, Nani ended up being 26-2 I think. So that run was better, I'm not sure if whoever I heard that from meant Open bracket only, not champion bracket, but either way impressive run by Polt ^^

That was through Open Bracket and Championship Bracket.
I still think Polt and TheStC's runs were way better since they didn't have the benefit of an easily-executed build (Naniwa literally 4-gated his way through Open and the bottom of the Championship Bracket) and way better competition.

Fun fact: Polt single-handily knocked Incontrol out of the championship bracket at Providence.
Incontrol was one point away from passing Rain, but Polt beat him.
Then, if Polt had actually beaten Puma, Incontrol would have ended up in sixteenth place over Puma.
He truly is the hero MLG deserves. Sacrificing himself for the good of the many.

Random: One of my friends attended Orlando this past weekend and got a picture with Polt, and I just gotta say, he is way shorter than I expected. He looked like he was just barely taller than Huk or something close to that in the photo. For some reason, I'd gotten it into my head that he was taller than that. Funny how those things work out.
Also, he was apparently one of the few Koreans comfortable enough with English to actually say a few English phrases instead of mumbling all the time. Nothing too complicated, just stuff like "yes, sure, of course," but my friend said he was very nice. And he (along with HongUn) were allegedly very smiley. :D
Okay, that's the end of my random post. Wooot, first post out of a 30-day ban and it goes to Polt. His forehead must've compelled me to say this. XD

From reports I've seen, people have agreed in saying Polt was one of the nicest/friendliest Koreans.

Yes, but this was also during the PK era (pre korean).

Polt was definitely the nicest Korean I met (most were still quite nice too) but Polt was on a different level. So humble, smiling, and polite. He has a new fan here for sure. Sign me up!

Actually I remember MLG saying that they were tied and the tie breaker was based off both of their recent performances at the last MLG and Rain did better so he was given the seed.
