This is a fanclub. If you are not a fan, get out and dont post. Also, this is not a discussion thread on negative things. Its a FANclub. |

Diamond in Korea means High Grandmasters in North America. Sign me up man!

LOL xD SlayerS fielding a diamond league player in GSTL would be hilarious in all seriousness, i don't think we'll ever see her do well in a pro match so i don't think this fanclub is very usefull, and it's blatant it was only done because of her "looks"

Appropriate that their first female pro should have the name "Eve" Sign me up

Only in teamliquid.net it's more acceptable to be a fan of teen boys that play video games rather than a cute girl. <3
Anyway I can't say whether it happens or not but..
You maybe be able to see her play in GSTL. SlayerS has expressed that they plan to field her this season.
And comn theres much more ridiculous fanclubs if you have a look.

haha. hahaha. HA! Count me in after I see her rip a nerds head off. I'll be watching closely.
But seriously. Too soon.

true, but they're ridiculous because they're people that actually don't deserve them. She may deserve it, but we can't know yet, so it's just making it less of a achievement if she just gets it when she doesn't deserve it... when she may actually deserve it

It's acceptable to be a fan of these teen boys because they have actually played games and competed in events that we have seen. Eve has not. The only more ridiculous fanclub I can think of is the Lindsey Sporrer one. After Eve plays some games, I might join this fanclub (probably not though, because she is terran). But if I like her style and she puts up results, I will. Right now is too soon.

Maybe Jessica scouted her because she was playing fairly well after a relatively small amount of games? I guess that's pretty impressive considering:

I'll be a fan when I see some results.
There won't be any results for a long time because she's a low diamond player.

My only question remaining about this fanclub:
Will you put it under accomplishments section if she gets promoted to platinum with her 슬레이어스이브 account?

I hate the hypocracy. People who play games dislike girl gamers, those that make a point out of being a girl and play games (usually pretty bad at it) and acts allmighty. Same goes for whiteknigths (usually those hitting on these girls) And then, an anonymous girl is spotted, not making much of herself and everyone wants to know name, see VODs, see pictures, area of living etc etc.
If she ever becomes someone at the top, I will cheer on her as a player if she has an interesting style. There is a reason for why players like HuK and IdrA is not liked in my book. It's simply boring to watch from my POV, while players like Moon, MMA, Polt, MKP, NesTea, White-Ra, MorroW are fun to watch.
It's sad, and I dislike it a lot.

I won't blame anyone who plays in gold league of korean server states his/her opinion and says SlayerS would pick me too if I was a good looking female/I look as good as her and I'm top 8 in my gold league division, why didn't SlayerS pick me. In fact, I'd probably support.

if this is how girls/women are encouraged to go into sc2, it's not being done the right way
seconded. I'd like to see the source for the "SlayerS_Jessica herself scouted based on her skills and looks ."

Hire BitByBit to be her personal strategic coach ???? Profit with a new Zerg sniper on the team.

I excagerated to little. I mean GIRL GAMERS. That mostly play for attention and not really gaming. People like iJustine. They are usually aweful at the game, but points out every time that THEY ARE GIRLS AND NEED TO BE TREATED EQUAL BUT YOU NEED TO KNOW THE FACT THEY ARE GIRLS.

Thing is, if there would be equality, there wouldn't be 2 different sexes. But, that being said, those looks shouldn't be enough for a girl to be recruited by a pro team despite being a gold league player. That just shouldn't work. We might give them their own division if they want but if they want to compete in the same division as men, that should go accordingly, which means that they shouldn't be recruited by teams despite being gold league players. I hope that I'm expressing my view clearly.

It doesn't matter she's a girl, it's why she's there in the first place. And from the looks of it, it's due to her having a vagina. And the fact that people made a fanclub before she has even done anything, and there is no reason for doing so other then she being a girl. It's sad, really.

This is strange. Don't really understand. People are fans of her getting scouting and recruited for her looks I guess?
