Dude, y u so mad lately? We're all Scarlett fans here, and my post isn't completely irrelevant to her since her ZvT has been difficult lately because of the thor change.

Ahhh doesn't look like Scarlett is going to play in the kespa cup, But we will see her win Detroit next weekend so not so bad.

Im mad because I had a shitty day, but that's beside the point. I'm just saying it wasn't really directly relevant to Scarlett and was kind of random tbh. I see where you're coming from, but I just feel it's out of place

Not like she needs to try for kespa cup, she's in so much coming up I'd rather her not get burnt out on crazy stacked qualifiers and just focus on what she's already in

As much as I love watching Scarlett play, I have to agree. Focus her attention where the best shot at good WCS points are, I want to see the great foreign hope clean up at blizcon.

Yea i can see your points but can we stop calling players not Korean foreigners, I mean idk just bothers me for some reason like pros that aren't Korean are at a disadvantage. Just don't like the term foreigner I guess.

Most of them are at a disadvantage. They neither have the institutional support or the funding to be able to keep up with the Korean teams. Some like Naniwa, Scarlett and Stephano were able to make it work, but for the most part KR > Everyone else.
Its also just a jargon term that has evolved in e-sports (I do believe LoL uses it as well). Nothing is meant by it besides "A player who is not Korean"
Anyway, Any recent VoDs of Scarlett playing? My internet has been capped lately and haven't been able to watch any SC2

There's nothing wrong with playing just for practice, though. I love Scarlett, but chances are she's not going to qualify for the Cup, given the caliber of players who are competing. She might just want to play for fun, and for practice against Kespa players.

See that what i kinda mean just because there kespa players doesn't mean there unbeatable its like everyone is so afraid of the big bad Koreans, if you have the mind set that your just not ever gonna be as good or better then them then yea your going to always lose. Its like the everyone in the west is afraid and scared.

One KesPa player is beatable. Beating 6 or 7 in a single elimination bracket is damn near impossible. There's certainly nothing wrong with trying, and it's admirable if you do (it's a reason why I'm also a fan of State and Petraeus). But it's best to keep your expectations realistic.

But see that is not a good way to think if you go into any tournament saying yea If I can beat this one person I did good but there is no way for me to win because there is just to many better players then whats the point in even playing in a tournament to begin with.
Edit: not saying thats why Sasha didn't play in the tournament she does have alot going on in the very near future so can understand her not playing in it. But I do truly believe she could have gotten though. Also with her hands acting up again yea its a good thing she didn't play in it.

LIterally sacrificing all overlords just because the script prefers things with wings. But yeah, that's a different conversation.

I think they should've put in an exception for when the Thor is being actively attacked, so that there were some ways the Zerg player could set up an engagement that helped their Mutas take less damage. I like the change overall, but there are occasionally frustrating moments with it that don't entirely make sense.

She is the most popular SC2 player in the world, there are tourneys that she must reject because she simply has too many requests, and must select them carefully. The wrists, the stress, the travel, the chaotic sleep schedule due to competing timezones.... not easy to manage them all with so many tourneys. Funny how everyone and their mother voted for her in the Best Foreigner thingie, that one is a nice idea but with her schedule I doubt she will participate. She needs to rest and focus on the big ones.
And I'm not so sure that we will see her in Detroit. We will see

She played in the qualifier and won a free trip there from Redbull. I think we'll see her there.

Yea i can't see her play in qualifier and win and not go. She should be in Canada by now or on her way so she will be kinda rested after traveling so much.
Actually xtorn you might be right about her not going to Detroit, yea It gives WCS points but with IEM Canada right after it and that one being so much more difficult and by not going she can really get some rest.

There were plenty of exciting matches and the finals will be an event I will remember for the rest of my life, especially FlaSh kicking the soccer ball with the names of the SKT players into the crowd.
Looking forward to the next season of Proleague we want to make it more exciting then it was this year. We are toying with the idea of opening Proleague to the world. If we did open up Proleague next year to all teams which teams would you be most excited to watch? Do you think if we allowed foreign teams to enter would it lower the competitive level or increase it?
Please Please Scarlett get Acer to join PL next year.
