Common guide on winning WCS:
1. Play SC2 10hrs a day 2. Get stressed up and nervous about the event 3. Play some more SC2 4. Lose sleep and play more SC2
Scarlett's guide on winning WCS:
1. Go have fun for a week 2. New hairstyle 3. See Proleague with friends 4. Play WCS and win flawlessly.

Fortunately, unlike Samson, Scarlett's power of Starcraft does not rest in her hair. Glad to see Heart get through as well <3 Heart. <3 Scarlett. Round of 16 is going to be amazing with Iaguz there as well.
Congratulations Sasha on being a dominating contender as always.

Can't wait to see her at WCS Round of 16 with her new haircut! :D

IEM is shaping up to be one the hardest tournaments this year. Its going to feel so great when Sasha wins it.

Really good draw for Scarlett. She got probably the easiest group out of the 4. I certainly pick her to be one of the players to advance out of the group.

That's a fantastic group for Scarlett IMO.
The weakest Terran of the RO16. -> she should win this with her ZvT Probably the weakest Zerg of the RO16, though still a very good one in his current form. -> closer, but with her current ZvZ she should be more than capable of winning this. and, probably the most challenging, a phenomenal, but out of shape Protoss. -> depending on their relative forms this shouldn't be an impossible match either.

Her group looks good compared to the others. Is there a tournament in Taiwan all the acer players are heading there, just wondering?

O cool didn't know about this thanks for the link.

Fantastic group for Scarlett, maybe HerO or iaguz may be challenging but she can definitely get 1st.
Great idea with the team showmatch! Looks like Acer sent the best players they have. So much foreign activity at the yoeFW house lately thats a nice pic, Scarlett looking great as usual!

Surprising that they'd fly three players to Taiwan just for a showmatch, and that Team Acer would agree to go even though there's no cash prize.

I agree. Ironically, Scarlett's most volatile matchup in the last month has been ZvT (as is true for everyone) after the recent buffs. But I don't see Iaguz beating her in a series, especially if it goes to a macro game. She's also beaten viOLet easily the past few times they played, even with an injured hand during IEM qualifiers. HerO has also been very inconsistent lately, losing to both Life and Kane in the Destiny I tournament (and once to Xigua during RO32). Scarlett's PvZ is also vastly improved over last year. If all goes as planned, she should win this group.

Acer is a Taiwanese Corporation. This showmatch might be part of the promtiotional activities in their home country.
Go Scarlett!

Upcoming Scarlett schedule
8/16 - Team Acer showmatch vs. YoeFlashWolves 8/22 - Redbull Battlegrounds Detroit 8/28 - IEM Toronto 9/8 (I think) - WCS America, Group A
It's going to be a very busy few weeks coming up for Scarlett. It's good that she has WCS America last out of the list, since she usually gets stronger the more she competes (ASUS ROG and MLG Anaheim were her two most successful events, and they were both last in a series of successive meets for Scarlett).

I had no idea Acer is Taiwanese. Thanks for the info!
