lol...funniest thing I've read ever. if she trains for a year it's perfectly doable She has solid fundamentals from Dota 1, good knowledge of the whole hero pool, already a pretty high MMR off of mainly randoming. Pretty solid foundation, so I would say in 6 months time, she could definitely be on a decent T2 team. She's gonna tryhard, so it's possible.
oh I totally think she can do it in 6 months instead of 1 year, but I didn't want to start that discussion here. However she only gave herself time until end of February

As long as she shares her journey with us I'll be a happy camper

Sorry to see you didn't make Premiere Scarlett. Was hoping to see you trash some Euro's. Moba's aren't my thing, so I probably wont follow your progress on Dota2 (though I wouldn't mind if you dropped in from time to time to share things here.), but I'll be waiting to cheer for you here if or when you decide to come back to SC2. Anyway, best of luck to you and I wish that whatever it is you end up doing brings you joy.

My mistake was assuming you meant winning TI...Obviously if she could get on a decent DotA2 team (Cloud9 Hype!) then there is every chance she could make it to TI (If that is of course what she wants to do)....winning TI is, I think, as much out of the possibility of foreigners as winning GSL/SSL

it might of course be very tough. but i think she's not afraid of going for the big jackpot with a good team; or else she will always wonder "what if i wouldve tried"
im just speculating, she said nothing about actual dota plans, as far as i know it's all about having fun right now to take the stress off; she might well get back to sc2. that prize difference between these games though

Oh, guys, this fan club during last days is the worst. It is so bad that made me to make TL account to write this post.
We all love SC2 player named Scarlett because of her play, pretty cool personality, her story and other SC-related things but this obsession on her switching to other -shitty- game and fanboys' forced drama surrounding it. Just leave her alone and let it go- she'll either come back pretty soon, or die for e-sports like all those 'successful' former starcraft players. I believe that 'sharing the doto journey with Scarlett' makes you/us betray everything we liked in her and makes people look is if they were following here only because she's transformer. Don't be those kids. Just let her go and save those good memories she gave us by her good play at those times she actually enjoyed or at least didn't hate Starcraft 2.
This is Starcraft related forum and keep it related.
Thx Scarlett.
+ Show Spoiler +You died. I couldn't believe myself watching those games you were playing. You simply didn't want to play, but which is more important, and drives me mad, you didn't want to win. At least till you reborn in LoTV and START STREAMING STARCRAFT ALREADY

Maybe not 100% passion for Starcraft is lost. Scarlett was seen yesterday on Naniwa's channel twitch chat sharing thoughts about games

Wanting to follow her to a different game doesn't make someone a "betrayer", it just means they have interest in that game, or at the very least interesting her enough to follow her to a new game. Someone like me who is upset she's switching to a game we don't like isn't any less or more of a good fan as someone who is excited for her to do so. Hell, if she was switching to Smash Bros I'd be just as excited as everyone else here about Dota. I don't think she hates SC2 now, just lost passion for playing/competing in it.
As for you spoilered thing there.... ya that was super disappointing and seemed so out of character for her.

Well, I can kinda understand it. It's fun (sometimes) when used as an in-joke, but there are some people who take the whole passion thing way too serious, and they're more than a little eye-roll inducing.

More Scarlett support less infighting!

Just a few random comments for example laughing at Naniwa's opponent who was protecting missile turrets with SCVs when phoenixes arrived.

Alright, call me slowpoke or whatever, but I just saw that Scarlett was in Germany to meet with Acer... what's she doing with them if she isn't technically a pro Starcraft player anymore? Very curious to see what happens.
Also purple hair wtf. Also curious to see that.
This fan club is so dead without all the infighting.
|
She was doing some promotional stuff with MMA. I don't think it was something extraordinary.
|
Still technically part of the team so probably still has obligations to fulfill as part of her contract. (maybe, just hypothesizing here). Also yeah Purple hair...That's a thing.
|
Purple is my favorite color so I definitely approve :D
