I'm assuming this also implies no LotV comeback possibility? Fuck I thought I was over it by now but it still makes me so sad. Not even because she's leaving us, but also because she never reached her full potential in Starcraft. I know she could have done more and been even greater and now we'll never see that. isn't it funny how Scarlett can shake the entire esports scene with just 3 letters ?

I asked a moderator if it makes sense this early and the response was that it's best to wait to see if she really sticks to dota, then this one might be moved to liquiddota or some other solution. But now it's too early basically and I agree with that but with the risk of causing sgtk some severe migraines, it seems there will be dota content posted here mostly from now on

And as for 100 hours a week... well you have to admire that commitment, but that doesn't sound like something anyone could keep up

there are good reasons not to stream at sc2 to hide builds and stuff, but there isn't this problem at dota2

That's over 16 hours a day. That's insane. She must not sleep, or isn't actively playing that whole time. And xtorn, I probably should sign up shouldn't I?

I don't dislike dota but I'm not interested in it at all. I like other games besides sc2 though. I'm not too worried about it hurting or helping sc2 but I think this does hurt more than help. I think peanuts is friends with her in dota, you can see hours played on steam

A lot of people only watched that scene because of Scarlett, she had that draw power. I'd say no one else had the same draw power, most definitely in the NA scene. You could speculate about Naniwa and Idra (when he was actively participating in tournaments), and possibly Flash and Jaedong. Directed at xtorn: In terms of Scarlett shaking up 'E-Sports' with 3 little words, get over yourself. It didn't even make it to /r/Starcraft or /r/DotA as far as I am aware. In fact most of the SC2 community, besides the people in this forum, have already forgotten about her existence and moved on to other "NA Saviours" like Kane/HuK etc. I have no interest in DotA 2, and no interest in following Scarlett in DotA 2. I'll hold faithfully on to a glimmer of hope that she'll return to LotV. But create a new fanclub over at LiquidDota, don't move this one over...Just lock it or close it and keep it as a piece of archaeology.

Ya I didn't want to call xtorn out on that point so hard but really, the people in this fanclub are the people who really give the most shits. Large chunk of the starcraft community has forgotten about her by now, and Dota probably doesn't care too much about some former starcraft pro who is completely unproven and doesn't even have a team yet. I basically agree with everything you're saying Phil. No need to close this thread though even if you start a new one.

Okay sorry poorly worded. A large chunk has has moved on and no longer has any interest in her. Forgotten about her in that she's out of thought, out of mind, no longer relevant to starcraft.
