After he lost to Trap in the first game to the freaking DT as he was too greedy, I was pissed as I knew he was gonna be greedy. But, he pulled it off eventually all to solid macro games!

You got credit for herO's advance to Ro8 today :D... Are you happy? With the race distribution, I guess herO only needs to worry about PvP and PvT from this point on. I think herO has better PvT than anyone else at this point along with Stats. Any other Protoss will just die to Terran these days. herO's PvP is much better than last year but I don't like him to cheese too much on PvP. He has a solid macro and aggressive builds for PvP, just keep it that way I think he is fine. I find herO's shenanigan is working better for PvT. Anyway, the real question is who he is gonna meet in Ro8. Either sOs or Maru are both not herO's favor. Lost to sOs all the time. Maru is solid Terran as well. I really hope one of them get eliminated on Sat .

You are made of sunshine too, just like herO LOL... I don't really feel sOs as his form is somewhat in the shadow. The weird thing is he didn't do well in the first season of GSL last year either but then he came back strong in second season and all of that. sOs in general doesn't do well in group stage but if he makes out of it, he is scary. His style is just tricky. Also, for some unknown reason, sOs and Classic are like herO's nemesis. It doesn't matter if herO is in good form or not, the match would be close of course, but herO lost in the end. I would rather avoid sOs in general if I was herO. I kind of hope Maru will advance in first place and KeeN or Bunny kicks sOs out . Then, herO is gonna sail to Semi!

It can be only a P or a T but still who that may be is the question. There is a high possibility of sOs comes out in second which is bad news. sOs is like anti-matter to herO. So maru over sOs? :/

How is that surprising? No one questions Maru comes out first given he is Terran and he is doing well recently. sOs barely made out of his group. His form is kind of shaky. People even say he may not make out of his group but I feel like he may given he is sOs. Experiences do matter.

For some weird reason, herO just can't win against sOs (and Classic). Anytime they meet in big events and herO was higher ranked, better form and still lost to sOs (or Classic). PvP can be a tricky match-up (well every mirror match-up is really) and those two know herO very well. In the weird, facing Maru or sOs is tough for herO. He doesn't like either. Hopefully, Maru would make out first and one of the others makes out second. Then, herO will be fine.

He's a bit fortunate he is in the ro8 imo. I think herO will win but I guess you never truly know with sOs. Man, don't get me wrong. I'm rooting herO and I have confidence in him a lot. The thing is, sOs is always a bit shaky in Group Stage. I was seriously hoping that he got eliminated if he made too many mistakes which he did against KeeN in first match. Then, sOs went back to his own style, weird and unpredictable and got out. I was like "This is the sOs I'm afraid of for herO, the weird sOs". I watched herO last year against sOs in GSL. He did standard build, cheese build, aggressive build. Still couldn't win a game against sOs. sOs doesn't just cheese but does weird stuff (Look at that freaking 2 Twilights, no Thermal Lances, observer speed, it was literally WTF moment for me). He is a lot like herO in PvT, very unpredictable. To be honest here, PvP is always herO's worst match-up. Look aligulac.com and you will see the stats.

Historically it's been herO's weak matchup but I was just looking at aligulac and since the beginning of this year he has had a 76% win percentage in the matchup so he seems pretty good in it right now. sOs on the other hand didn't look good against Billowy in the first round of gsl and then got stomped by Showtime at Nationwars. He also lost 0-2 to Stats at the iem qualifiers. Even though sOs is in the ro8 his play is still not impressive at all compared to herO and Stats. I don't think he'll be able to trick his way into winning against herO this time.

I agree sOs is not on the tip-top form like he was last season. A bit shaky here and there but remember he did manage to overcome. As I said before, sOs is always a bit shaky at Group Stage and stuff due to the fact it is Bo3. He is one of those players that getting better the more he plays. For example, lost Billowy and came back and won. Same happened tonight against KeeN. That is why Bo5 gives him a lot of advantages. He may lose first game (if he indeed does) and come back and win the next 3 and bang done! The worst part is he plays against herO a lot. Reading and tricking herO is easy for him because of that. Also, herO is streaming and sOs doesn't. Not that herO shows all of his builds during stream but it does show his style. I'm hoping herO stays strong and composed and shows his skills against sOs and of course he can still win. Frankly, I'm not that confident to be honest here. In the weird way, Maru is stronger player than sOs but I have the feeling that herO has a better chance to win against Maru than against sOs because at least herO has the unpredictability factor but vs sOs, it is other way around.
