That sounds good, i am always annoyed when mobs randomly despawn at the edge of the screen and then don't get hit by anything at all, until i get closer and they suddenly respawn at the exact same spot.
Edit: After testing it, i am not that convinced anymore. The game is much easier this way (at least on my embermage), and enemies sometimes tend to just stand around at the edge of my screen doing nothing. I can often blow up half the level across some cliff with the fire explosion. Also, my pet refuses to pick up any loot because it always runs off somewhere to the next group of enemies. I still don't know, the enemies randomly disappearing at the edge of the screen was annoying, too.
Is there maybe a toned down version of this that just extends the visibility of enemies by a slight bit, basically just enough that they don't appear if they are at the upper right/left screen, but not enough that i can see them if they are far below/above me?

Anyone know how many times -armor on hit can stack?

Not sure this is worth the hassle of all the glitchy item movement.

I believe most mobs also have a % reduction to some form of damage that cannot be negated by -armor.

Well its an option. I swapped away from Electric mage using the respec potion mod, because prismatic bolt is really unfun with its homing feature, but it was the only skill that built charge.

Any advice for a solo outlander?
I'm level 31 dual pistols and I die a lot, if the game supported better micro then maybe quite a bit less, but still I feel like a complete glass cannon. I have only about 150 physical armor, while my pet has 300, I don't know if that is normal. Is physical armor way more important than elemental armors? I also feel like investing skill points in dodge is a complete waste. I'm also completely broke all the time, are you supposed to just get mf gear and grind from time to time or what's the point?

What difficulty are you on and how far into the game are you? First of all, backflips are your friends, backflip is probably the most important skill for solo outlanders in higher difficulties because it lets you extract yourself from situations extremely quickly as long as you're not dying in 1 hit. Another issue is that are you using the basic attackmore often than not instead of the high range abilities like shadowshot that lets you "scout ahead" (think guided arrows in d2) and allowing enemies to run into you before shooting them with basic attacks.

I think I play on the second hardest, veteran or something. I haven't really gotten too many skills and my focus is low. Guess I gotta start doing those backflips then. I'm in the second act, bringing genocide to the bird creatures.
Ya I thought I'd do fine with just akimbo, rapid fire and 1 level of tangling shot to pin difficult monsters down. Huge mobs are the only difficult thing really, everything else I can kite and take down fast.

my engi has found 6 berserker-only uniques, and nothing for other classes.
just gambled on two amulets, got two more zerk uniques.
what is this

Should pick up a shield for starters. Dual Wielding is useless at low levels.

eh, it's not that bad, is there a way to force my guy to move and like not autotarget stuff that may or may not be in the general direction of where I'm clicking? Like the exact opposite of holding down shift? And another thing is the draw distance, need to fix that.

Yes there is. I don't remember wich is the default key but it is the 'Move' button. Go to the key binding options and choose a key that you think is confortable. I have it binded to 'D' key (without any modifier like 'shift' or 'control'). Now I mostly move by pressing D and attack by left-clicking on a enemy. Very useful indeed when your screen is full of enemies and you need to reposition you character.

Default move key is the grave key (tilde) right next to the "1" key
|
My dual wielding berserker is a real killing machine, but I keep dying so easily, not sure what the problem is. Is my dodge mabye to small, or elemental armors, or whatever, but I can die before I even get to hit that Shadow burst or chug a potion. Currently on NG+.
But once I hit that haste, dervish and rage it's just absolute destruction, reminds me of my frenzybarb from D2.

Not related to your problem, but you should really put a point into Rampage if you want to become even more berserky.

I was so happy when i got Frost Phase, that instantly removed all those problem because if i want to get away from stuff, i just port instead of walking. Is faster, and always works, instead of randomly hitting some dude with your wand for 15 damage when you REALLY want to get away from the giant troll that charges you.
