Instantly. Nope, I got the mail that my payment has been send, but no keys yet, like 20minutes ago. Well, it may depend on how you payed. If you check out with Paypal, you're instantly redirected to your personal Humble page, where you can redeem the Steam keys. Pro tip: Create a Humble Bundle account, get notifications for future bundles, and never lose your key and download information. I just tried their 'Resend keys' thingy; I got a new email, but it stated that there are no keys registered for that email. What the fuck? Did you pay with Paypal, credit card or Amazon payments? Alright ... I guess you'll have to resort to patience then. Regardless, don't panic. Humble support usually is great and very accomodating. When stuff goes wrong, they will take care of it. Make sure to save your order number and payment information, and maybe wait a few hours or a day or two. I realize that's not exactly what you want to do right now, but this particular Bundle is generating a massive amount of sales and traffic (it's barely two hours old and they've already sold 100.000 bundles), so their services might experience a hiccup or two. So am I supposed to get those keys by logging into their site, or by email? Because I didn't create an account before buying the bundle, just after.
You'll get them by email, since you haven't had a chance to claim that particular Bundle for your Humble account yet. The mail includes a link to your personal Bundle page, where you can download the soundtracks and generate the Steam keys.

When i pay with paypal, i instantly get a link to the page where i get the keys, and the same link sent to my email, though i don't know about the timing of that email.
