Gyrados was one of my favorite pokemon in Red. I always used it as my water pokemon when I battled my friends.

The seed is the the date and time of the DS when you press A on your save game. Frame starts at 0 and then advances based on different factors. Calling certain people, coin flips, NPC movement, your movement. All IV's and natures (and abilities and genders) are known, so you just need to manipulate your seed and frame to get the pokemon with what you want. RNG FTW. Even if catching a wild full 31 IV is impossiblz, creating full 31 egg with nature is not hard to do :d It is possible to catch wild 31/31/31/31/31/31 pokemon with the nature and ability you want. There are spreadsheets out with all in game spreads, so you just have to find one you're looking for (maybe you want a perfect hidden power). Breeding is easier, because spreads are a combination of A/B (first and second parent) plus 3 IV's, with a maximum of three parents IV's being taken and a minimum of zero. Also, gender, shininess, nature, and ability are set once the daycare man gets and egg. So you save beside him when he has an egg, check to see if it's what you want, then SR for IV's (or RNG abuse). The Jirachi event was a couple months ago, I picked an easy low frame spread to hit on Pearl, 31/30/30/31/31/31 adamant Jirachi (could have waited for jolly but since the nature is completely random I didn't feel like having to hit my frame more).

You will then be able to roam 6 different and unique zones with different pokemon in it to catch. You cannot fight them and they can't fight you. You can do 4 things when you encounter wild pokemon: 1. Throw your balls at them. 2. Throw bait (food) at them. This will make them more likely to stay rather than flee. 3. Throw mud at them. This will make them more likely to flee from you but easier to catch. 4. Run away from them. The safari zone owner will give you challenges. They will ask you to catch a certain pokemon in the safari zone. After you complete a challenge, more zones will open up to you and you'll be able to customize them with objects that increase the likelihood of a certain pokemon showing up for you to catch. For more info go here: http://www.psypokes.com/hgss/safari.php There are some really nice pokemon to catch there later on like a lv 41 Lapras (if you didn't catch one yet in a certain cave on a Friday) Hypnos, Mr.Mimes, etc etc.

Which if you're using No$ or whatever it's called I'm not sure if the time function works properly with that. The objects are something about the customization of the area and adding features I'm not sure how that works as I never really got into it but I assume once you start customizing you add objects into the area to attract new pokemon and in order to get baygon you need to have 9 forest objects added and have let 110 days pass on the calender?

Journal Entry: Day 1 First decision I had to make and was told very vociferously that I was in fact contrary to physical evidence of the female persuasion... A bit of a shock to me only to be surpassed by being told that my name was Idra. Being very confused I greeted my mother and met Professor Elm at which point it was insisted upon that I take a Cyndaquil who was dubbed FireBatHero but that was too long so FireBatHro had to suffice. I ventured forth and battled many wild (and annoying pokemon) on a boring errand for the Professor of the Elm persuasion previously mentioned. There I met two old men who apparently liked gawking at little girls a lot and giving them gifts... creepy. I made my way the hell out of there and back to the lab because the tree guy was freaking out over something and wouldn't make any sense. On the way back I met some kind of rude guy who a glance at his Trainer card I didn't get to see his name but the viewers informed me that in fact he was Dustin Browder after thrashing him viciously and inciting my FBH friend to dance afterwards in celebration we moved on. Asked to identify this thief his full name did not fit and he was dubbed Browder. I ventured forth again after my childhood friend decided me was going to give me his balls... yeah not even touching that one with a 10 foot pole seem to be surrounded by pedos no matter where I go but at least he's my age and now I am armed to catch more pokemon and being informed once again I only want a Pidgey and I must slay any others that come across my path; I have succeeded in this but do not have a name for my new feathered friend. So the adventure of "Idra" has only just started and she seems to need help with decisions o.o and since AntZ doesnt mind me jacking his thread to let you guys know when I'm going live since it brings more attention ^^ I should be continuing later once you guys give me a good name for a Pidgey

Here's how I decided on my (male) Pidgey: small, weak, squat, pathetic, can fly, gets slightly stronger later on. 1st choice: ArthurDent (from Hitchhiker's guide) 2nd choice: Ray Romano 3rd choice: Dan from Street Fighter/Mr. Hercules You're very welcome to use one if you're not going to pure starcraft names (top of my head, Perfectman ... or dare I say it, Artosis). If it's a girl, dunno.
