I'll almost certainly get it. I'm not much of an MMO junkie, I mostly find them tedious, but GW1 really did away with a lot of the things I dislike about WoW etc. If they can deliver on just half their promises I think this game will probably be worth the hype.

One small thing though: and we will have microtransactions in GW2. Noes! It won't be too bad, unless they add the best armors and weapons (like some companies would...) to be bought with RL money.

Agreed. I hate how some MMOs call themselves free-to-play when people who don't want to spend RL money (which is kinda the point of a F2P game) on gear are put at a significant disadvantage in the game itself. F2P MMO stores should be limited to stuff that don't affect gameplay directly such as extra features, videos, customization (such as aesthetic changes for characters, weapons and armor), expansion beta privileges, special mounts/pets and hell, maybe even XP boost for leveling. As long as players are not put at an unfair disadvantage when it comes to actually enjoying the game, I don't really see a problem with selling stuff for RL money.

Anyway, I'm definitely not going to miss out on this one. Rather, I want to go nuts with it :3 Graphically and gameplay-wise it looks excellent and I think the battle system will be a nice change from what I've experienced. And hey, what better a community to join the guild of!

Well my husband and I plan on making one In reality with all of the theorycrafting and talk on strategy that the TeamLiquid community does, I think that would be the strongest single part of the guild. Theres no denying TL is full of incredibly intelligent individuals, thats why I wanted to post the idea here *edit* added some more video goodness* Character creation videos

But GW2 just looks so good with stuff like this new event/quest system and cross class combo spells just to name a few. I definitely have to try it out.
