I kind of like Killing Wave. It's situational and no superstar, but it can be used to put yourself in a really nice position. Life in this Standard format trickles away quickly. 1 of in Zombies? | ||

Apparently Personal Tutors are going out of stock everywhere. My friend came up with Insidious Dreams if you could ever manage to resolve one, for the 4x time walk in a row, still unlikely although funny. | ||

The angel will shut down pod, it will shut down things like phyrexian mana. It will shut down stuff like Griselbrand's activated ability. It will not shut down stuff like the upkeep triggers for the revealed demon. | ||

Modern maybe, it would go nice in that hatebears deck. It'd be huge in block if there's a demon/sacrifice subtheme going on, since black in general this block has a huge sacrifice theme to pair with Morbid. | ||

I believe it does stop shock lands as they read "you may pay 2 life" and the angel reads "Players can't pay life" On the other thing I don't know that so I wont comment. | ||

Many people will try though. I wonder if they are printing vertical cycles for the soulbond guys. We've seen a common and uncommon in U, and a rare in W. The tomb is solid in limited, especially if you have any flash creatures. The legendary mythic angel cycle appears to be costed XCWW, and exclude B. Avacyn is 5WWW, so that counts. Gisela seems like a one of in Frites, as if you can untap with it you can attack for 10 first strike, and it's pretty difficult to kill through combat. | ||
