Testing that right now. Got top 4 at the PTQ he was told to run it as a joke. Apparently it shits on GB, but loses pretty badly to Tron. Where are these PTQs where I can just troll deck to top 4... Also any weenie_fliers.dec destroys GBx. I can't beat my friend's BW tokens at all.

Or is it a matter of the sideboard tax rather than the card selection?

sideboard tax mostly. GBx is great at one for one, but not sweeping the board (which they can also just play around).

He started 4-0, lost 3 straight, and ended 4-3-1 IIRC. He crushed Scapeshift all day but Tron seemed bad for him and he punted at least one very winnable match. I think the list could be cleaned up a bit but it seemed to play out pretty well.

Completely forgot about this website and that there might be a bunch of magic players here. I play in the MTGO legacy dailys regularly now, and have been into legacy for about a month solid now. My deck of choice is Death and Taxes, here's my most recent list, would love to hear from other Death and Taxes players about the current meta, just to chat, etc on MTGO or through PM!

Any mp EDH players on MTGO?
|
BAAAAAASIC MOUUUUUUUNTAIN.
Anybody watching the invitational ?
|
Am now, thanks for the heads up!
|
The only thing I'm mad at Ross for is him not playing white bordered mountains.
Outside of that, HE'S THE FUCKING BOSS.
|
Such a sick baller to bring infect and Sligh to an invitational.
|
As a fellow Louisiana MTG player, I'm super glad to see the boss win the invitational.
Y'all think all-in red will be popping up a lot more online?

Y'all think all-in red will be popping up a lot more online? of course... it's like what 50 tickets? burn and cheap decks have always been popular online.

Anyone played Vintage Masters? My friend is forcing Black/X aggro everytime and winning (I did it once too and it worked). People are trying to be too fancy with synergies, and just crumble to a bunch of one drops.
