-soulfire is A+ except you don't want to draw more than one. It doesn't take the place of seeker. Go 4seeker 2soulfire unless you really are pressed for space then want both then go 3seeker 1 soulfire. -white valuemancer is garbage. Just play 2 or 3 dig through times and you've got more than enough tempo game to play vs big boys. -Outpost siege is amazing. Only khans. -wildslash is objectively better than magma jet -you want to play sphinx and not stormbreath or wingmateroc. The other 2 are good but sphinx is the best vs U/x control. -you beat everything that isn't U/x control or abzan aggro, which is 45/55 and 35/65 respectively in favor of not-you. -More on u/x control, keranos is the best card against u/b, but vs u/w just a 5mana get-b.lighted threat. Font of Fortunes is a great 1of sideboard card because its like a 25th land because you have no 2mana plays anyway. -Finally, don't play burn in tournaments because abzan aggro is too good. Play tokens, which improves your vs abzan aggro matchup and is an actual tier1 deck, unlike the tier2 "jeskai aggro/burn/tempo"

(still lost, though) I mean, there's only three packs >< fetches aren't really high picks in pro tour drafts as most players value results at the PT>>> some monetary card value(still reasonably high as their still fixing but way later then in fnm/mtgo drafts), beside that i only saw silumgar and sorin, both of which are great, but still nothing too far out of the ordinary if you are willing to spend picks on lands and play 4 colours to enable playing most bombs you open(opening 2 great ones is still pretty nice though, but i dont even love his deck), and i guess deflecting palm, but that card is poor in most decks. they are also not almost unbeatable bombs like wingmate roc

Yeah, I was waiting to see if he drew Slayer's Stronghold and a way to bounce and replay Boros Garrsion, and he finally did. Honestly, I think keeping 1 extra Hornet up and decaying the amulet would have sealed that game for him.

Compare that to Splinter Twin/Deceiver Exarch, which requires one less card, allows you to go off from a board of nothing (end-step instant Exarch, untap and cast Twin on your turn) and is in blue and red, the best tempo controller/protective colors in Modern.

It is meant to be very casual and open to everybody. It does not have a entry fee and you can win a drink voucher. The format is Legacy, but mainly to not exclude anybody. The power level is much lower than what you would expect from a Legacy tournament - hence Casual Legacy. Last month we were 10 People and had a good time. But a few more people would be nice. Any of you got an idea where to post about it to raise awareness / advertise?

The packs are screened and registered by the judges before the tournament and all the foils are removed and replaced by a random common.

Bolster deck with lots of low power/toughness creatures leading up to: Archfiend of Depravity (control their creature side) Ghastly Conscription (on my own graveyard) Harsh Sustenance (post ghastly) Good side measures are Mastery of the Unseen, Citadel Siege, and Palace Siege
