I already own everything expensive I need to play Legacy ie Wasteland + Port (basic plains in Death&Taxes, pretty strong card guys :D) but drafts should be really really fun!
Just hope LGS don't go too crazy on prices.

They're really NEVER going to reprint Herald of Serra? Or Yavimaya Hollow? Or Enchant Worlds? Those types of cards would fairly interesting reprints. Do they have to reprint the expensive stuff--like ancestral, black lotus, duals? Hell no. But the quirky stuff? Please do.

Well, I'd like to see them reprint the expensive stuff too, but it does seem really annoying and kinda stupid that stuff like Thunder Spirit (a 2/2 flying first strike for 1WW) is on the reserved list.

Welp, certainly not getting EMA now, especially if supplies are going to be that low. The LGS in the city where I just moved away from would probably sell all their stock within 60 seconds of release

First of all, I don't want my set of nice unlimited Volcanics to lose their value. I also think that a large part of why cards have value, is that people are confident wizards won't go around reprinting their 100 dollar rare as an uncommon to grab some quick cash. Abolishing the reserve list would be a good move to destroy a lot of that confidence. They can keep the RL list. Perhaps they should just ban all RL cards in Legacy and print Legendary duals. Ya ya spirit and all that jazz, but as far as I am concerned, the RL can go to hell. I want to play Legacy. By making the format more accessible I get to play more. If you want "value" perhaps you should take up the Nasdaq or if you're more risk-averse lower yield portfolio's with more long-term confidence. I own Miracles and I would ecstatic to lose 90% of the value of my dual lands if it meant I could reasonably be able to play Legacy locally every week. Of course, WoTC sucks with reprints in the first place and is in bed with the secondary market, so the likelihood of that ever happening is near zero. Ditto, I too own miracles duals (2 volcanics, 3 tundras, and a taiga for my burn splash) and I would be ecstatic if they abolished the reserved list. I wouldn't mind losing $1000+ in card value if it means that I can take that $1000+ and buy more decks. Also, I really wouldn't put it past them to print legendary duals. Although not likely, it still wouldn't surprise me. Edit: Just to clarify, the Taiga is not for miracles, I also run burn. I'm bad at magic, but I don't want people to think I'm that much of a derp.

And if you're splashing Abzan Charm, why not Rhino also? (overfucking simplified of course)

From that decklist, I'm considering just out of hand these changes: + Show Spoiler + 2x Dispel -> Disdainful Stroke 2x Dromoka's Command -> Silkwrap Sideboard: 2x Flaying Tendrils-> Remorseless Punishment 2x Disdainful Stroke -> Hallowed Moonlight 3x Painful Truths -> 2x Rising Misama, 1x Display of Dominance Also might rejigger that to fit a single Ob Nixilis (because I have it) in the sideboard somewhere for control/midrange (probably over the 3rd Painful Truths) EDIT: Limited testing has led me to conclude that Warden of the First Tree is likely shit. There's just too many Reflector Mages running around, not to mention Sidisi's Faithful in Rally.

Also thought-knot seer is the reason that deck even works. That card is stupid under costed give the land base available. If it was boltable, or cost one more mana, then it would be fine. God damn it WotC!

edit: actually the better question is, how much will it drop in price once it rotates out

but he will 100% drop quite a bit once he rotates out himself, most of his overall price is him being a 4-of in most standard maindecks. i'd call a drop by half but i am not an expert so who knows
