I was trying a version with thriving turtles (great at blocking advocates) architect of the untamed and multiform wonder.
I feel like of those 3 the turtles might be necessary...
Edit: Yeah I dunno man, I can sometimes get three activations in a game with scries/drawing cards/etc and whiff all of them. I think the deck is just way too inconsistent to be viable as unfortunate as it is.

I have played dozens more games with this deck and I feel the need to report that you're right. I found the consistency to be lackluster over a long period of time. It's also weak to RW aggro - a situation I do not want to find myself in at the level of a grand prix.
Unfortunately, it's looking more and more like I'll be picking RW or RB aggro for GP Denver in December. I say unfortunately because it's not super exciting, but at the same time, I'll probably have the best chances with aggro.
Also, if anybody is interested, I recorded a very satisfying cube draft a couple days before the league went down and finally put it on youtube. I made a few mistakes but overall I was stoked about the deck. If anybody wants to watch it, here it is. Feel free to critique and offer input on what went right, what went wrong, what you would have done differently, etc.
The goal of trying to win my first Gameday continues this week-end! I finished 2nd and 3rd at Eldritch Moon Gameday, at two of my local stores so trying to get over the hump this time! I've been running pretty decent recently, finished 2nd the last two weeks in Standard with R/W Vehicles and G/B Graveyard respectively. I also had my best Duel Commander run to date on Friday finishing 2nd with Krenko Mob Boss. The store I play at is big on Duel Commander so they have adopted the new 20 life total already which has really buffed my Mono Red Goblin deck, I was undefeated until I ran into an equally hot Maelstrom Wanderer deck.. rip
What are your deck picks for this weekend? Aggro is pretty strong in our little community so I am currently testing R/W Vehicles, R/W Tokens (from the PT) and Temur Aetherworks. My testing buddy is on G/B Delirium atm.
This will be the first week-end we try our hands against a stronger player pool, as one of the Gamedays we are attending will be in London Ontario so expecting a much larger turn-out than we have seen up to his point.

btw update on my PT. I went 11-5 so that requalifies me and gives me a paid flight to Dublin early next year. Also $3k is nice. I went 6-0 in draft which was great, but only 5-5 in constructed...obviously a great record all around, but I really need to pick better decks in constructed for the PT
Went a little nuts with Black Friday and bought a full playset of allies fetch and shocks. Now I'm hoping that they dont get reprinted for at least 2 years =/
Guess this will hopefully be my last purchase for the year.

Is there a primer/discussion board on Modern Kiki Chord that isn't just a soapbox of Jeff Hoogland? And can someone direct me to such place if they know where it is?

MTG is a game that I buy into. I missed the boat on the speculation years ago. If the fetchs do indeed get reprinted, I may complain a little but I guess I have to suck it up.
WOTC current reprint policy is more aggressive as compared to yesterdays which is great. I'm still missing a lot of cards that I wanted ever since I was a kid. Now if only I can get my hands on the old border cards.Or maybe a playset of foil fatal push
I just registered for GP San Jose after not playing magic for a couple years since I never got to play in a big event when I was active. Anyone else going?

Post your results and or sick pulls!
Also thoughts on the standard bans? Modern players can chime in as well about those bans, but the standard ones seemed the most suprising.. imo
I'll probably post my usual writeup in the blog :D
Nice! I'll keep an eye out for it
I did poorly in my Midnight release pod but my testing partner finished in the top 4 and pulled a Masterpiece (Grindstone) in his prize packs, so sick...
Today I had my best Pre-Release to date, 4-0-1 good enough for 2nd out of 42. Pulled a Cloudstone Curio that didn't quite have the synergy it needed (not enough revolt) but when it did work it was quite fun Played well, got a little lucky, and walked away with 10 packs!
Didn't do terribly well in my prerelease... but also can't complain.
Pulled a Chandra, so naturally I went red-white. Aethersphere Harvester is hilariously evil, on both sides of the field (but mostly mine). I kinda like Conviction more than I think I should; it really helps in a (limited) control setting.
Double Kari Zev's Expertise for the lulz, essentially letting me splash for some nice green cards (like the Narnam Renegade and a Nature's Way) while getting a hit or two through.
Dark Intimations... yay? (Obviously can't be played in red-white.)
In the end, I went 1-2-drop. But I got that mythic Creativity in my pity pack, so that's not bad. Still no masterpiece, though.
