So, this clarifies that the 'destroy' (red) ending was the way to win the far. Anything about the blue/green endings yet?

I actually liked it, although I have to admit I didn't hate the original ending as much as a lot of other people did, my main problem with the original ending was that it gave no closure on your squad mates fates whatsoever, which was covered nicely in the extended cut. I picked the synthesis ending btw.

The Normandy crew because they lack the long term survival skills to survive on a new planet, the fleet because a devastated earth does not have the resources to support the fleet, let alone its surviving population and the fleet. They must have realized that the mass relays couldn't have been remade so they needed to make the problem easier to solve. Of course that actually doesn't help when you realize 1 MR is useless so even if they could repair the one on earth they would be stuck there until other relays were repaired as well, and the only planet in position to have the relay repaired is Earth because of the massive fleet in orbit.

Since they are now synthesized to be good guys I don't see why they wouldn't help rebuild. I don't see why it's so impossible to remake mass relays.

May have liked it better had these been the endings all along. Also now all the people who thought Bioware was amazing, and that the "Indoctrination Theory" was true, can shut up about it. Got confirmation that it was all in their heads to make themselves feel better about the terrible ending. Though I'm sure deep down most people realized this already.

I am spoiling this because I want to make it clear the new options: The idea is that there are 4 different futures now, instead of the same future with 3 different colors. There isn't closure which is still missing, but the outcomes are much different now. The red ending is humanity over reapers. It's the ending you go with if you stand united with the galaxy. The blue ending is sheperd becoming the new catalyst with lots of details. It's apparently the only way for sheperd to survive, but he becomes the thing. I'm not sure how it works. The green one is the feel good yay ending where it answers a lot of questions. Finally, the reject ending puts you in the same shoes as the prothians before you. You have been wiped out, but you leave your technology hoping the next cycle will be able to destroy them.
