EDIT: Never played Mass Effect games... are 1 and 2 worth 8.75? (I'm gonna guess the easy answer is yes) Or are they only played well with a controller?
Also, just got a 90% coupon for FaeVerse Alchemy (whatever that is) if anyone wants it. They are, in fact, the PC versions are KB/M only (at least they were when i play them)
they are completely worth it, even if the end is less than ideal its still an amazing ride

I just came home to see this sale, and the one game I'm still waiting for (Shovel Knight) is still not on sale at all!... C'mon!
Might as well try a $5.00 Stanley Parable and see what that's all about

Wow, crazy sale! I might pick up Divinity and X:Rebirth, but they're still over 30€ each. Obviously Divinity will be my priority. Edit: Well nevermind I ended up doing the opposite, buying X:Rebirth and putting off buying Divinity ;D. It's just that I'm in a big "space mood" recently and if I had to play an RPG, I've got a ton already on Steam waiting for me to play.
Also picked up Burnout Paradise for 1.5€.

Don't Starve is quite worth it imo. Not super a lot of content variation since it's a survival game, but it's rich enough to keep you discover more. Also if you buy the Reign of Giant DLC, I'm quite sure you will get free Don't Starve Together, which is the multiplayer DLC, in close beta testing phase now. Overall it will bring you quite a lot of game hours if you like the genre Can someone confirm this? This sounds more and more tempting... :D

I have 230 hours on don't starve. Worth.

Yes. And no, I used Keyboard and Mouse for the whole thing. I can't imagine how awkward it would be with a controller (then again I'm somewhat of a "all shooters should ideally be played with KB+M" elitist so...).
Steam storefront is HORRIBLE for trying to find out what's on.
On the up side I picked up Wargames Red Dragon really cheap. :D

ME on PC only supports KB/M, but they are not cheap ports, BW did an entirely different UI for PC and it's better than consoles imo, ME2 and 3 are well optimized too. I would suggest skipping ME1, using the Genesis DLC to see the story instead as ME1's gameplay didn't age that well, ME2 and 3 are vastly superior in gameplay.

Steam front page is decent o_o it has infinite scroll on all the sale games
|
i really liked ME1 gameplay oO

ME1 is stil the best one, the gameplay might not be the best, but you have LOT MORE OPTIONS (much more skills, equipments, etc...), ME2 while great it felt like a corridor shooter too much and has pretty low amount of customization compared to ME1 and even ME3, great game but easily the worst of the bunch, ME3 was very very good
The 3 are amazing games (all optimized for PC with different UI, etc... than consoles), so when i say ME2 is the "worst of the bunch" is still a very very good game and completely worth it

Any ideas on Simcity for 10 euros, or the complete edition for 15? I'm thinking mostly whether my gf would like it.

I actualy think me2 is the best one in the bunch. me3 would be but that ending....

EA always had stupid EU prices, when they sold on steam their games had the largest differences for years.
And dont buy Simcity, its a failure and still broken, their glassbox engine is simply a huge failure and completely inadequate to simulate cities. It comes with the performance cost of simulating every single citizen on their own, yet the citizens are not properly simulated at all, Societies had better simulation. For example in the new Simcity your workers do not have jobs, they just walk to the nearest building that needs workers, can be different each day.
So basically the game does not work because the engine is a failure, i dont know what happened there, its an unusable engine and i think no game ever since touched it. No matter how many pretty buildings they add to the game, it will never be a fun city builder. Maybe a fun landscape painter for a day or two before you delete it.

Didnt they release new endings for free?
Also, what would be a good class to play trough all 3 mass effect games in a row? I never played 2 and 3, maybe i should.

they werent really new endings, they were just slightly altered versions of the same endings

Thanks for the tip, I feared as much.
