Regarding lenght of games i use this site+ Show Spoiler +https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=25434 It generaly gets You the idea of how long the game is. Not always super accurate but still neat.
Personly i got XCOM2 and Borderlands Pre-Sequel. I rarely play games when they are new, i prefere to wait for all DLC and stuff before i play.

Aragami easily the cleanest stealth game released in the last 2 decades. Spiritual Successor to Tenchu.
Avorion is a pretty sexy space sim sandbox multiplayer game. Trade, Fight, Mine, Salvage, Loot, Modular Ship Building, Dabble with empire management with pretty rough base building/fleet management once you get far enough in.
My hands down best two pickups this sale. Don't sleep on these.
Will play through either of these games with anyone. ItsFunToLose on steam.

thanks for the responses guys, appreciate em!

Doom is around 10 hours, on hardest difficulty.
Completed it twice and took me exactly 10 hours each run, didn't get all the secrets etc though, would say i found around 70-75% secrets.

Sounds great but early access is a big nono for me.

I picked up BG2EE for some nostalgia, and I was looking at Tyranny but it seems they doubled their price 2 months before the sale so they could 'half' it in the sale and still sell at full price. This kicked up a storm of controversy and they have since promised to roll back the prices... after the Steam sale. They will then 'attempt' to reimburse the difference to consumers, and if that is not possible they will donate it to charity. However - this 'roll back' will presumably just set their prices back to the level they are currently at in the sale, meaning nobody will get any money back, and this was clearly the plan anyway, so it's not a concession.
If they are offering to reimburse 50% of the sale price then I will buy the game now, but like I say it seems to me that they are offering to reimburse where the sale price exceeds the roll back price, which is just ridiculous.

That's weird, I don't see that in their price history. Maybe they did that for they other games? Or maybe they mistakenly changed the "full" price instead of giving it a discount then corrected it afterwards?

I haven't been following it so I'm just going by what I've read on the forums, but if you look at the price in other currencies you can see it has increased, sometimes a lot. The price in dollars seems to be the exception. Look in Russian Ruble, Indian Rupee or Chinese Yuan. That said the increase in GBP/euros was only a few euros, so I guess it wouldn't have been much cheaper for me in any case.
|
You're right, I see it in reais (br currency).
I'm not completely sure that it was intended to be a "raise the price then discount it" scummy move, but I do agree that raising prices for any game that has been out for a few months is a pointless move that only serves to irritate consumers.
Edit: bah, what do I know, it may as well have been just that

There was similiar outrage after Paradox adjusted their prices (so in every region You pay same amount after conversion to euro). As a result people who buy in example in rubel saw huge spike in prices. On top of that they did no press release about that and then responded to complains in shitty way. Sometimes i wonder who writes those press realeses for them... gamers arent typical kind of cutomer and the respond differently than ordinary people, game making company should know that.

Gonna pick up the new one Rise of the Tomb Raider, hope its as good as the previous title.
New Tomb Raiders are really good and I feel like I am playing a movie instead of playing a random game. Deus Ex also has the vibe.

Yea, Uncharted is the same, like a interactive movie, i prefer Tomb Raider though, the main character is much more interesting for me, the voice acting is top notch. This is also the first game where i really enjoy parkour, it just feels so fluid and smooth.

Tomb Raide is much better than Uncharted IMO, the gameplay is better, the set pieces and vistas might not be as good but the puzzles/tombs are much more interesting
And Rise of the Tomb Raider, is SO GOOD, better than the first one which was an awesome game already.

Yep, just started my playthrough of Rise of the Tomb Raider and loving it so far, the animations when jumping edge to edge seem a bit off compared to the first but apart from that its great.

Guys, Crypt of the Necrodancer is really cheap atm (2,99€) or available as a bundle with early access to the new DLC for 8,15€. I cant speak for the DLC, as I dont buy early access usually, but Crypt of the Necrodancer is a game that Ive had a lot of fun with for a pretty long time. Certainly very well worth its money, check it out!
Also so far I bought Circa Infinity, which I actually find surprisingly non-exciting and Keep Talking and nobody explodes, which I basically played through in one sitting with a friend (~4 hours for both of us completing all bombs), but expect to have a lot more fun with once we set up some mods. :D

Trails in the Sky 1-3 Total War:Warhammer with elves DLC Steins;Gate Corpse Party Tales of Berseria
Sold all my cards and have 75 cents towards next year's summer sale. LOL

Crafted my summer sale badge level 2, i'm becoming a little obsessed with increasing my steam level... this is getting addictive.
Sadly i cant trade cards with other people because i don't have a smart phone, so summer events / hoping to get lucky with booster packs is the only way i can craft badges at the moment.
