Sadly i cant trade cards with other people because i don't have a smart phone, so summer events / hoping to get lucky with booster packs is the only way i can craft badges at the moment.

I ended up buying Tyranny in the sale because the price hike in GBP was not really that significant and I wanted to play it anyway. The price hike resulted in me paying £1.50 more than I otherwise would have, and I should be able to get a free copy of Stellaris for myself or Tyranny (costs £35 on Steam) for a friend. Link for anyone else who bought Paradox games in the sale: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/pricing-change-rollback-information-thread-latest-news-here.1031635/ This also applies if you bought a game during the Steam Summer Sale. I contacted Paradox' Support since I bought Hearts of Iron IV and DLCs during the sale (in Euros), and I was indeed eligible for free game/DLCs as well
I have to say that my most recent HOI4 game as France was interesting for sure. First us in the Allies had to fight the Axis and once Germany surrendered (which took a while) it was all easy rolling from there, especially with the USA and UK's subjects taking care of Japan. Now we are fighting the Comintern

For those who thought about Pillars of Eternity. It's in the humble monthly bundle with NBA 2k17 for the usual $12
|
Yeah, though i am kind of bummed about the NBA game. Sports games just totally are not my thing, and that is now sucking up prime estate in the monthly pack. It's weird, but i would probably have instantly bought it if it were just Pillars revealed, while i might not buy it with both of them revealed. To me, an unknown potential game is better than a NBA, or Fifa, or whatever else sports game series there are.

Sam here, i just dont play sport games.

Ah damn, NBA 2K17 at $12? I guess we'll be submerged with cheaters even more then :/.

If you are planing to start the humble bundle monthly I can send a referral link where I get €4.5 at the store. Just link what you want me to buy for you for the money and I'll send it over. That way it is even better value.
For a limited time get €4.5 Humble Wallet Credit with every referral. When they subscribe, you'll get Humble Wallet Credit automatically. Invited users must be first time subscribers.

I can see the point, but don't agree with it based on my previous experience with Humble Monthly. Realistically, how likely is it that you'll get 8 games that you'll love? Take something like the May bundle. I believe it was similar to this upcoming bundle with two feature games: Dirty Rally and Inside. Dirt Rally was a game I had zero interest in and I was kinda bummed out about it, but we ended up getting Undertale and Turing Test (personally I already had Undertale, but if I didn't, DAMN that would have been my fav bundle by far).
In January, the feature game was some Warhammer game I had zero interest in. My reaction was "Bleh" but I was VERY happy when the bundle came out (Mother Russia Bleeds, Neon Chrome, Trails in the Sky, Jotun)
I've learned not to get too disappointed about feature games. I've been disappointed with the bundle a few times, but feel that overall I've gotten awesome value out of it (the goodness of the good bundles overwhelmed the badness of the bad ones, and even the bad ones I don't feel ripped off) and a lot of those good bundles have had a bleh feature game taking up space
Personally, I'm excited about both games.

I'm a NBA fanatic but I don't play 2K, just can't get into it either.
